    Saw this today in Motor Authority and thought it was a cool breakdown. Maybe it's just me, but I find it fascinating how some Ferraris (I exclude the LaFerarri) are becoming less breathtakingly beautiful than their predecessors, but almost more beautiful as you spend time appreciating the engineering; the little things.

    Because they keep making parts of the cars more functiona. I actually find that the cars are getting more and more beautiful. Now the 458 in my opinion is one of the most beautiful exotic cars in the world and ever made. I have not see a 488 in person to pass judgement on wether I think it looks more beautiful than a 458 or not. I do find it appealing from the pics, but that 458 is just a masterpiece that is hard to improve on.

    The 488 looks amazing in person. Makes the 458 look dated IMO. It shares a lot of the front end lines to the LaFerrari.....

    I like the 488 better than the 458, but yes 308 style door handles would look so much better.

    I'm with you. I wouldn't say that the 488 is more beautiful in person, and I can say with some confidence that the convertible is less attractive than the coupe. They both take a little bit more effort to appreciate than the 458.
