Indeed you can see the Swiss-Cheese holes lining the interior of the air-box providing ports for air-flow to each or the carburetors. Also the tapered shape means the air-pressure can be consistent towards the rear carbs, I presume? A fantastic piece of engineering. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its about time the Countach featured again in mainstream advertising, and that's exactly what has happened with Swedish-born Ex Machina (Ex Machina (2015) - Rotten Tomatoes) star Alicia Vikander using a Bianco/Bianco Downdraft as a prop in the current issue of Elle magazine Image Unavailable, Please Login

The same DD about 5 years ago, as tested by a pair of hilarious Frenchmen. Note grey-painted air-box and door-mirror askew. They do drive it with some gusto later in the video, enough to make it shoot flames @ 5:00 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxtyeR7faKM[/ame]
Great shots of the white DD in Elle magazine. I might nip out and buy a copy. Great that the car is getting some main stream. I'm sure a few of the younger female readership will be wondering what the hell is that car. Looks to be in great condition too. I like the behind the scene shots. At the end of the day, its just a car park Note. They edited out the rear badges. Boo hiss ! R
I can confirm the car is GLA 12989, owned by James C and much-enjoyed here in Southern California (where the shoot took place). Image Unavailable, Please Login
That Countach has got to be one of my favorites. Do you know if the car was restored at some point and by whom? I can tell that some parts of the interior were reupholstered from the Petrolicious video. Such an amazing car.
Welcome James and glad you are following, I'll try and dig up the ones we took of your DD and my Miura SV, meanwhile, here is your car and some admirers recently. Image Unavailable, Please Login
