Wrong brake booster. And there need be two, where is the second one? Far down resting on the vacuum reservoir? At least this "improvement" was not made by cutting the original booster brackets away, like in my car. Was quite a fun to reproduce them and weld them in again properly (needs to be very exact, to less than 3 mm, if the original boosters are to be fitted). So, for this car one would only need to obtain two of the Girlings MKIIa in order to get it original again. You get them for about € 900.-- each (refurbished), but generally in exchange only ...

The "full brake overhaul" by a "specialist" seems to be made rather on a small budget, in my view unacceptable at this price level. I would not like to know about other shortcuts ...

I do not really understand why the cover of the electricals has been cut out. Perhaps an attempt to avoid overheating of the components? Cleaning all contacts up (including the contacts in the relays) would seem to be a better option ... :D.

And look at this strange exhaust box.

A 225,000.-- € car should be better detailed and original, I would tend to suggest. Including optics, like a correct repaint of the camcovers.

Hummm, sorry but not very correct...

In fact, Bruno explained me last wednesday morning he started to work in the '70s, not before.

All the Espada were delivered by Bertone with complete interior, he never worked on Espada production, but did for "reparto assistenza" (customer department), so after/later...

He explained also the Espada delivered with clothe interior didn't have the stiching, but all the ones with leather interior have the stiching.

Here is a S1 still with its original interior...

Not sure what you mean by stiching (sic)? Perhaps you meant perforations?

What does a S1's interior photo demonstrate?

Your book will be of high interest...especially regarding the different production locations for the interiors of the Vintage Lambos and the individual leather quality utilized...and the corresponding leather producers.
    Have a nice day.

    OK but that's just anecdotal.

BTW, after having rebuilt my two front seats I can say that any of the ventilation holes, which are quite limited, in the seating shell back side don't line up with those crazy hand punched stars worth a crap. To say that the seat construction is rather crude is being kind.

Im not sure what your actually talking about when you indicate my words are "not very correct" . I never said I spoke to Bruno ! I never even met Bruno ! dude I live in Toronto .I spoke with only Valentino and according to him it was Bruno that redid my perforations in 2010 .
oh and the holes Im talking about are the ones on the back of the front seat . the other ones on the seat fronts of my car are done correctly as well .
when did I say Bruno worked at Lamborghini ?

Gary, allow me to clarify :

what is not very correct is : "... the seats were delivered 3 ways on series 2 cars .
........ he says all now can be considered correct "...

    sure

    https://www.pinterest.com/bucsateflon/lamborghini-espada/
Just made public my "Espada dump", it's double aimed, I admit.

"The lowest in height, 2+2 seater production automobile ever" can someone help me better phrase this statement?

I believe it still is the lowest 4 seater but 2 + 2? Not the same thing though even the Espada isn't as roomy in the rear as us fans make out so 2 +2 might be more accurate?

Pinterest has to be joined to see what you've produced. Can you do something about that? I have an aversion to "joining" so many websites as opposed to just viewing them.

    How's this?

"Still the lowest slung, 4 seat production automobile"

In my understanding a 4/5 seater sports car could mean even the unsuitable Uracco or 911, etc.
A 2+2 sports car means that those 2 back seats are equally satisfying for most types of passengers. No?

    No...

Pinterest is more commercially inclined, plus many of my pics come from Flickr, it's redundant to put them in the same place, connection wise, can connect with Fb, Google+, Yahoo.

Who is doing this, some info?

Not my understanding of 2 +2. There are more of a styling thing but small bags and kids (at the time legal) could fit there. Some do it much better than others though. While I myself don't fit all that well in the back of an Espada now it used to easier though my long legs make it tough. I fit more comfortably in my Biturbo coupe and have had 4 adults in that car many times. I also traveled for a day in Italy in one with 4 people. None of us were terribly small either.

I cannot fit in an AM Rapide in the rear and that car "looks" oh so much more accommodating at first glance.

Well, there is nothing to do with god or to be impressed by a saint's words...

it is possible for someone to be certain when he spent the time, a lot of time (so far 224 days to be accurate) in order to cross sources infos : spoke directly to the right person (in the morning before lunch time... ha ha ha) who performed the work at period, looking at original cars on period pictures, period records, checking dates and what people were doing during the era for each year specifically... all like a Swiss watch maker...

You have to learn and then must always consider that most people who worked at Sant'Agata strongly believed they had an influence on the life of the factory... and some still believe themselves as "god"... funny isn'it.

Therefore, with a lotof luck and patience, you can meet another kind of old employees, with humility & modesty they stay in shade but they have the knowledge and they can correct and tell you the truth with strong arguments...

When you have the privilege to meet such profile of persons who bring you facts & pics then you know to be certain ! ! !

Yes funny, i can imagine why FL lost some interest in the factory at a certain point of time...
btw: Babbo natale is a "god" also ?
