Verell asked me to pass along this message. "Regretfully it looks like I'll be in the hospital for the rest of this week, Then recovering for much of next week. My regrets to my customers."
Bummer. That would explain why no one answered when I called this afternoon! I hope Verell has a speedy recovery
Hello Mike, So did I, unfortunately it was a massive cardiac infarction, including two full cardiac arrests. I am damn lucky to be alive! Thank goodness they had gotten me into the cardiac unit before the arrests occurred. Good news is that the doctor tells me that I don't have major cardiac damage, but will have to go undergo cardiac therapy. It's beginning to look like it will be the end of the year before I can be mostly back to normal.
Verell, From someone who has been a member for sometime although not a frequent poster my prayers and best wishes for your quick recovery. From all I have read in your posts and in the posts of others you are a really good person so keep your chin up and listen to the Drs. Once again, quick and speedy complete recovery! Phil
I wish you a full and speedy recovery Verell !! Healthy, sick, young or old: any day could be one's last day. Let's give that fact a bit of thought, keep it in mind and let's enjoy our friends/family/cars !!!!
Verell, Welcome back, twice! So glad you're a survivor; the cardiac therapy will be nothing compared to the alternative... Here's wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery!
Glad to hear your going to be mended. If they want to replace any parts - tell them you'll 3D print your own or at least use your own injection process. Don't want any of those cheapy foreign parts in you. Follow proper guides to WOT prior to taxing your internals. Good luck.
Verell, Been there (heart attacks) and just missed having my heart stop. You do what the DOCs say. Take as long as necessary. If they are going to crack your chest like they did mine, you are going to be out for awhile. Just take it as fast or slow as the DOCs, not your "thick head" ()say. My Best to You. And Yours. Mark P.S. I'll have an order waiting on you when you DO get back in the saddle.
Wishing you all the best as well Verell ... similar thing happened to my good friend here a couple of years ago and his is doing fine.
Wishing you the best and a quick recovery. Feel good, and look forward to you getting back to your normal routine .. Best to you and your family this holiday season ..
