Today there are 11 used FF's available in Switzerland as per autoscout24.ch, the cheapest one being Swiss Francs 159 K. But there are many more used FF's with various Swiss dealers that don't put them on the internet. Marcel Massini
More like Cali t front and back is different but not drastically so. I think pinanfarina does elegance better but that is a personal view. Not long now and the pictures will be published.
All recent cars are designed by Ferrari Design Studio. Pininfarina is out of Ferrari business plans permanently. There is absence of some kind of elegance on last Ferrari models because of PF absence, but I still think FDS is doing very nice job. IMO Cali T got very nice visual refreshment. I dont see much Maserati there. @FFantastic When we can expect pics? In one, two weeks?
FF, any improvement of the recessed area around the rear headlights? That's my biggest gripe with the current FF besides the MSRP
I think in a few weeks as a number of clients will be viewing shortly after Xmas and yes the sculptured tail has been modified slightly. Pf was responsible for the design of the FF as it stands so I suppose he is still responsible for the overall shape and context. How they play it on launch is anyone's guess. For me, it is purely a personal view, I think the Cali t looks a bit Japanese in an MX sort of way.. Too tidy and trim with no flair or touch of avant garde about it. Neat yes but passionate.....no. Same maybe now said about the FF.......Too many sharp folds, clean lines and scallops could be seen as fashionable rather than tastefully modern. Time will tell.
My '14 is the best car I have owned --- period. Nothing comes close. It will take something to get me out of it. More Power (NA of course), handling, style.... Not necessarily a slam dunk.
It is expensive. The way to control depreciation (as best you can) is to avoid optioning up new cars. Stick to the basics--- things you need, not just nice to have.
Standard dealer spec expectations in UK on facelift model is anticipated at closer to 300k than 260k as everything that was ultimately included in 2015 is now an extra and some plus the basic increase. Can't see used ones on the market until Jan 17 and they will be at least 270k plus plus so as said 2012s will look cheap at 160k. If many owners, as do I, love what we have I can't see a glut of used coming on the market. Plus the Cali has hardened since the launch of the Cali t.
[QUOTuE=FFantastic;144358609]To me......mine, but that is very personal[/QUOTE] Yes your car is lovely indeed!
New models always up 15%. Protecting owners. I don't think the in house styling says Ferrari as much Pinanfarina's does. Should be interesting over the next year or so.
I suppose Ferrari think the FF has been a successful model but not overly so and as the flagship production model and the most expensive that is to be expected. A point of view I heard expressed was that the FF only needed a refresh to motivate a resurgence in sales while they put all their effort into countering the baby Maclaren with the much talked about Dino
