Probably #5092 which was previously owned by W.W., but still to be determined if he was 1st owner or 2nd !!!

At this stage, nobody can demonstrate W.W. was the 1st owner and according to my last talk with Ingrid Pussich (a month ago), she said it was Harry Lansberg's compensation SV as it is written in the factory book...

Thanks Olivier! Do you have other pictures from the early life of this car?
As i said, this car crashed hardly. A friend of mine sold the car to a playboy (his job was son).
One night after new ownership the guy crashed this car next to a train station in Offenbach.
Problem was that the new owner don´t register the car with his insurance. As far as i know this guy declared the car as stolen. I heard they brought the car to an eastern country.
    I don´t know if it´s true story.

    This is not 5092.

From 1973 onwards, 5092 was always in its Oro livery, till the factory purchased it and restored it in Giallo.

I'm not sure, was this swiss delivered as described in the ad or not, since this dealer/customer is not much known:

Chassis Number 4716 is this Argento car .
It is fitted with engine number 30582.
Other Information: Production Number 561 Build Date: 6.11.70 Dealer MAATAM ALGERI.

    or like:

It is fitted with engine number 30594.
Other Information: Production Number 581 Build Date: 17. 2.71 Dealer MAATAM ALGERI once owned by singer/songwriter Father Abraham ..

    and:
Chassis Number 4918 is this Oro met. car with Black Leather interior, currently believed to be residing in CH .
It is fitted with engine number 30635.
It has the following modifications from the standard european model on offer at the time of manufacture: painted Red in 1985; restored at Factory in 1982.
Other Information: Production Number 652 Build Date: 19.8.71 Dealer MAATAM ALGERI. for sale 13-May-2002. Euros 190k 25000 km..

Recently checked out a 1970 S with a strange engine number on its top.

    Can anybody help me out?
    Reads like:
    00345
    C0345
    00343 maybe

Owner told me when he bought it (40+ years ago), the garage had two engines, he just asked to stick the newest of the 2 put back in it...so its probably not the right one.

Thanks for help on this !

    Incorrect.

The factory bought it as a gold car from an Italian accountant, I believe Simon Kidston had a hand in the transaction as reported on his Miura Registry.

The decision to paint the car yellow was made by the Museo, ask Valentino he will fill you in.

In 2003 I personally interviewed Walter Wolf via phone and took notes, here is what he had to say about 5092, draw your own conclusions:

"I had already owned 2 Miuras, and then this gold SV was available per Sgarzi in early '73 so I took it. I had all my cars registered with my automobile company in Germany, and I drove it a lot waiting for the new Countach. In 1974, I had a small incident with it and I returned it to the factory for complete reconditioning. I had them put a small steering wheel like that of my racing cars and I had them transfer some of the controls (headlight switches etc) to the steering column so I would not have to take my hands off the steering at speed to use them".

Wolf went on to say, "I got it back from the factory in early 1975 for the second time (by then I had my first white Countach with the roof wing) and then I gave it to my wife at the time (Barbara) as a gift. The unlocked rear hood blew open and was completely torn off from the chassis on the autobahn at over 100 mph whilst being driven by her! The factory replaced it circa 1975 at a cost of $5,000 at the time! We kept 5092 at our homes all over Europe and when we separated, she sold it. It's a shame that you tell me it is now refinished in yellow. The gold color was very special for that car and it (5092) has a lot of good memories for me. But, that's in the past now. The Miura was a great car, but nothing like the Countach".

Here below is the car registered in Ticino Switzerland when owned by Walter Wolf.

Ok for the explanation about the factory context to buy it.

But, W.W. testimony is not demonstrating the fact that W.W. bought it new...

He just mentionned it was available in circa '73 at factory, when production was stopped.

It was not ordered by him, so Ubaldo Sgarzi informed him of the availability of a SV at the factory, 1st or 2nd hand who knows...

If you allow me in your book, the factory list that you featured is mentionning #5092 as being delivered to Harry LANSBERG and not to W.W.

Speaking with Ingrid Pussich a month ago, everybody in the audience knows Ingrid is the "memory" of the factory, she confirmed the delivery to Harry LANSBERG, as she remembered perfectly who he was and the last gold SV delivered...

But, it still does'nt prove anything will you ad'.

    Actually I agree with you.

The car first went to Harry Landsberg as 4956 and was re-incarnated as 5092 and offered to Wally in early 1973. Meanwhile Landsberg got the car that is now claimed to be 5100. Surely that's not that difficult to grasp. A classic case of 70s factory musical cars.

Living in Dieburg for more than 40 years (conscious for more than 30 ;) ) unfortunately I never saw that car nor heard about its existence. Not that it means anything though :)

The car was driven around Rödermark/Urberach and Dietzenbach in the 70s-80s.
The owner had first the yellow Miura SV from pictures. Than an orange Miura SV (don´t remember the #) and than Miura SV #5006 which he sold in early 90s to Auto Salon Singen.

That's what I think too, the question is, where were they delivered?
Because #4716 is said to be delivered Switzerland, shall we then consider all 3 to be swiss delivered?

    Yes, correct.

The SV for example, lived in Switzerland for many years until it was sold to Japan.

In my description of 4918 it was mentioned that Mr. Maatam, an algerian lived in Austria, doesn't fit though since all 3 cars seem to have been delivered in the Region of Lac Leman.
