    Need some clarification.

What is the largest size rim someone has out on a F355? I was thinking 18" rims would look nice, but who has put on 19" or fitted the F430 style rims? I know they don't fit without some modding?

Anyway, looking for alternatives to stock.

    Thanks all.

Largest diameter: you could make a 21" fit if you wanted that ghetto look.

Widest rim: you could make a 12" rim with the right offset fit if you remove the diffusers.

Anything over 19" looks gross in my opinion.

I agree. The factory rims are 18s and that's what I'm sticking with. Some 19s that I've seen look ok, but I'd never do 20s on a small car like a 355. Would look horrible in my opinion.

as you can see from my original post I am interested in the 19" specifically, so that is the biggest I would put on a supercar. LOL.

I am having a hard time finding nice rims that I could sport.

Sorry ment 19, what I think and say are 2 different things LOL

They have a real meaty hub I see no real issue cutting off 10mm. I have a wheel company here in SoCal that manufactures wheels that has done many for their good clients. They said its one of the truing offset operations on wheel blanks.
    I do get your point 100% :)

I agree with you but the 18" BBS Challenge are magnesium and supposedly it's not okay to mill them the 10mm recommended for the rear. I would love to hear a second opinion on that.

I cant remember the hub thickness in the BBS 18s, they are not as beefy as the stradle wheels, I remember that much

I have a friend that wrecked his and welded them up with tig using alum fillar. 5 years later still OK. Just as bad he had them powdercoated. He thumbs his noe at me every chance he gets, all I can do is say he don't go above 100. :)

20's are the biggest I've seen. Makes the stock brakes look tiny.
