Some days ago, I visited Mondial 3.2 VIN 64413 (grey/tan) which was lying in bits in a guy's garage. It broke my heart to see the condition she's currently in, but I'm reaching a deal with the owner to pull her out of his garage and start a rebuild. Some crucial things are missing, but I'm sure I can find replacements for that: front and rear window, engine and transmission. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to putting her back in beautiful condition. Here are already some pics of her in better days !
BTW, it is a European model, right front wing was replaced with a US one

I'm more curious of what she looks like today. Great project, looking forward to updates.

That looks like a nice car back in the day. But already then it was on dealer plates. That would worry me a little but if it needs extensive repairs then perhaps it's ok. You'll need a fat budget to restore the car I'd have thought. Is it really worth it I wonder?

Some current pics would be nice.

Great looking car. I really like the closed cars and this color is stunning.

Not yet, we're in the process of looking if everything is there in parts (except for the engine/transmission/screens) and figuring out how to get the car out of the garage.

I would say see and collect and don't buy online for such amounts. For me a buyer with only 11 feedback and that it concerns an item over 10K and no other items for sale is for me a huge red flag on Ebay.

Nice Mondial btw! How come it is missing these items?

Btw lately a lot of older Ferraris get stolen in Europe. Unfortunately that is the side affect of increasing prices. Last week a black 308 was stolen in Amsterdam so check enginer and tranny numbers if they don't match up with stolen Ferraris.

We should have a Sticky with this information....
Stolen = 308 chassis number, engine number, transmission number and all kind of information on the stolen car that can be identify afwards.

    .

    Looks like an interesting project.

I am curious to know, whatever happened to the engine?
Was it blown? or maybe the shop scammed it?

I wish you the best as that is certainly going to be one hell of a challenging project ; serching for the parts and the cost could be horrendous ...

Unless you have an engine and gearbox , do you think it will be financially viable ????

The guy told me the guy whom he bought it from, purely bought it for the engine and trans. The car was in fact going to be demolished because at that time, the Mondials were close to worthless.

Seems to me he already sold everything that brings money...front blinkers, engine-gearbox, rear window....here we are going back to worthless. To find all that again will cost you the same as buying an other car in good shape with everything in place..my 2cents.

Finally, it would cost at least 40K euro to bring it back to the condition I want it in, on top of the amount that I would pay for the car as it is now. So, in this case I have to follow my brains instead of my heart.

They are Azev model C rims. You can choose your center caps matching your car.

May we know the price range they are asking? Personally I would part it out just for the reason you mentioned, but I tend to keep parts. Not sure if I would be a hoarder if I had the space :p

Just to agree with everyone, a donor parts car.
