    Michael, given your tastes (in terms of collectibility), you may want to also look at fiorano edition cars. They were all spiders, but '99 only and limited to 100 cars. Also, f1 equipped gts were the rarest of the 355's and don't carry much of a premium (yet). If I were buying a 355 with collectibility in mind, it would be one of those two. For pure driving enjoyment I bought a gtb 6 speed, but I'm not a collector and go to the track etc.

    The only Fiorano i seen for sale currently on the market is requesting 199K usd. The limited number really does add a lot of value to these cars.

    I bought it based on what makes me happy..
    I register and drive all my cars...not much but just enough.
    I prepare them to a level that can not get any nicer..Then I sell and repeat all 3 steps over again.

    Been doing this same thing 30 years now..
    Some people hunt and capture deer...I do it with cars.
    Anything wrong??

    BTW...Love this car...so authentic, it has the original tires still on it..
    Having them changed out today for Michelin pilot SS ..
