Going to spec out 488 at factory. What color should I go with?

    Hi all. Received my confirmation from my dealer and Ferrari. My Atelier Visit and factory tour is Confirmed for mid Feb. if anyone has pics of 488 or even 458s that would be great if you could post up here. I want to build something cool. Interior pics would be great as well as outside shots of colors you all think are cool. Think I have it narrowed down to a hand full of colors at the beginning of this thread. Very excited to spec out at factory. A dream come true for this car guy!

    Congrats, and can't wait to see pics. I was there to see the build of my 458, but I specced it out at the dealer. Would definitely do the Atelier visit next time. How long before your car is built?

    Good question. Will ask my dealer and when at factory. Don't know. Have had order in the Q for awhile just not the final build. I guess we shall see. Maybe 8 months year?

    Lolo is beautiful, and subtle. However the dark colour hides the striking beautiful lines of the 488.

    I like white, but, I agree with you on this. No white for me. Looks clean,but it's getting a bit played out. When I bought my GT3 that's all I saw was white. I got this color instead.

    A few pictures of my Atelier visit. Impressive is an understatement. Ferrari is such a world class manufacture. Everyone at Ferrari was just wonderful. Anna from Ferrari was just the nicest. And her knowledge of Ferrari was immense. My Dealer Gary showed me around, and was first class. Can't say enough about how wonderful Gary is.

    Newbie question, instead of spec at the dealership when you get your allocation, you can choose to spec at the factory or is it a special invitation only?

    Yes, you can spec at factory, but your dealer has to schedule and Ferrari has to approve you. Also, it's a scheduling matter on Ferrari's end. It was such a great experience.

    Which color combination did you choose to go with? You had a wealth of ideas to choose from. Maybe a comment to on the second color choice that wasn't chosen.
    Very nice to hear about another great experience at the Ferrari factory!

    I was out at maranello in January too , I was originally going to spec Rosso Fuoco , great colour I have on my 458, but then walking round the factory I really quite fancied a matt colour, when it came to it in the atelier room I fell in love with the more 'zingy' F1 2007 colour on the model so plumped for that, gone with crema & black dual interior ( racing seats in crema with alcantara black centres ) ...looking forward to early may!!

    What colour did you go for ?
