Just tripped upon this video while strolling through this thread.
    Wow!
If you missed this video you need to watch it...it is the best review of the F12 I have ever seen. His assessment, and his joy driving it goes beyond anything Clarkson could hope to accomplish, instead with Clarkson we watch him hitting tennis balls trying to be clever.
Watch once to read subtitles..then watch again to look at the car and listen to engine.
    :)

Interesting aftermarket f12 exhaust. Makes it sound more raw and old school without being completely over the top. I have yet to hear an aftermarket exhaust that doesn't "butcher" the high pitch build up and crescendo of the stock f12. The tdf does it perfectly as it works on both aspects.

I get it that everyone has different opinions, however before you go and throw stones at Marcel you should really find out who he actually is and more to the point why he is one of the most respected Ferrari traditionalist around.

And on that note both my Ferrari's are Grigio Silverstone with Grey wheels.

I very appreciate the contributions of Marcel, but the rapper-statement was rubbish and annoyed me. I suspect Marcel will survive, there were indeed no stones, rather cotton balls.

However, I really love your cars, exactly my taste, beautiful!

But how does that justify him being as harsh in his posts about black rims as he was? It's not like his opinion on a subjective matter (colours, for god's sake!) is more valid than yours or mine, is it?

That said, I don't like black wheels myself and I don't find them elegant but you have to respect tastes. Alternatively, you can also criticise in many sorts of humoristic or friendly ways...

Does not matter who he is.

You don't treat people that way.

Good video. Thanks for posting. Interesting about the Clarkson tennis balls segment. When my wife and I viewed it we both thought he nailed the feeling of driving the F12. When you get it to spin up everything comes at you too fast for initial comfort especially with the really fast steering. He was also spot on about wanting more acceleration and then being kind of sorry you asked for it - the "too scary" comment made me laugh. Of course, once acclimated, more power is always welcome.

According to which supreme truth did you state that ?

You're a big name in the Ferrari world , no doubt about that, but that statement is a disapointement.

If you say that 24 inches chrome wheels are related to the Urban Culture everybody will agree...

    But black rims...

IMO there's nothing sexier than a Red/Grey GTO with black rims.

    Anyway... to each is own.

Looks very much like it. But pretty as the pic is, it also looks enhanced.

Does anyone know the darkest metallic Grigio available?
