    Too bad Louis XVI of France didn't have this car a year after its manufacture-- he could have fled France and escaped the guillotine. 😄

    I wouldn't replace it. Kind of like a mistake on a coin's date. It's real. The way it happened. Adds to the character of your Dino.

    Good catch on the country. I believe this plate is only on USA Dinos, but what about Belgium Dinos? They have the steering wheel VIN plate like US cars while other Euro versions do not. Perhaps they also have the door jamb plate too?

    no, it`s just North America (USA / CDN) thing on US-models.....

    From the Bugatti Owners Club in the Uk you can get a replacement plate if you can prove the provenance of your car. Same should work with a Dino?
