More kits from what has to be the most prolific model car kit company on the planet FPPM. Next after the Ferrari 375 Indy will the 1914 Mercedes GP car, both in 1/24th scale resin. They also have hand laced wire wheels wich are very nice(I did not like some of his mid 1950's wires, but the pre war wheels are stunning and almost perfect. The best pre war wires I have ever seen in 1/24th scale).

I have a set of the pre-war wheel/tires and they are beautiful. Excellent work for the price.

I need to paint stripes in maranello concessionaires cambridge blue. Do we know the paint code? Nexa/PPG/Glasurit or Sikkens code. I think Gulf blue is very close?
    Thanks

Gulf blue is much too light. I struggled with the same problem and had to discontinue a 1:43 Maranello Concessionaires Gr.4 Daytona because of this.
Good luck and let us know, if you find the correct paint code.
Maybe you could ask user ScaleAutoArt.
He built and sells the 1:12 '64 GTO Maranello Concessionaires.

It has been mentioned as Pantone 557 being the official Cambridge University blue but there was a Ford Cambridge Blue used in 1961:

I custom mixed the color. White base with a clear blue until the color matched the decal sheet MFH supplied. The color they used looked pretty good but definitely NOT a gulf blue.

I found another photo of the Breadvan dash from the top. It does look like they had no dashcap on the passenger side and a crude cover for the instrument on top of the steering wheel rack. This shot was taken in 1962.

I think the Profil will be curbside. Unless Stephane is working on a full detail master. I think he is working on a one off.

Could be but that does look like a cast resin body(front/rear/cockpit). I would think it might be a full detail as that is what Hiro does. Maybe the model pictured is a commission with super detailing. Either way is fine as long as the car looks right.

    Profil 24 1/12th Ferrari 312P 1969 update:

"Profil 24 created the Ferrari 312 P in 1/12 scale with 2 versions: curbside & very highly detailled. The curbside kit will be available in our range. The hight detailled version is realized in collaboration with Built Up Models ( Stephane Dufrene & Patrick Buvat) & is available only on order in very limited edition (3 ex.)."

I think the super detail is built only....

No idea yet, but I would guess around $400.00. Profil 24 is alot better than companies like MG or ABC. They put out a quality well proportioned product that will require minor fiddling. Great stuff. A curbside will be just fine as to many "full details" will kill us. Who has time to build 12 full detail kits a year unless you are in the business!!!

Damn, i really must find the time to start building a kit...i have 4 1/12 Ferraris to build....
I must try something smaller first. Building i don't think it would be to difficult for me, the worts part would be painting!!

If you like classic 1/25th scale Indy cars here is a great line of kits that have been reissued under this new name:

    Home ? American Racing Miniatures

Chris Etzel did the masters on these kits and he really is great.

Tom, 212E would be a VERY welcome additon to my garage.
I found an email address on their blog, but no reply yet.
Can you provide any information on a contact or source where to buy this kit?
I also couldn´t find your image anywhere, do you have more information about this model?

I only have the email. I know Hapico used to carry them years ago. All I know about the model is that it will be a complete curbside.
