Too bad Louis XVI of France didn't have this car a year after its manufacture-- he could have fled France and escaped the guillotine. 😄
I wouldn't replace it. Kind of like a mistake on a coin's date. It's real. The way it happened. Adds to the character of your Dino. Freeman
George, Is 03000 your car or are you using the picture for reference? I am pretty sure 03000 isn't yours.... What s/n is your car? Shawn

Good catch on the country. I believe this plate is only on USA Dinos, but what about Belgium Dinos? They have the steering wheel VIN plate like US cars while other Euro versions do not. Perhaps they also have the door jamb plate too?
Did you miss the responses to this same question in the other thread you started: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/206-246/421202-chassis-plate.html#post142557289 Mike

I found this one. It's a new reproduction according to the seller. Not cheap! Ferrari 365 Data Tag Plate GTB 4 Daytona New Reproduction | eBay Or.... You can get one custom made much cheaper by an industrial engraver/screen printer like this one I found on Google (I've never used them): This one looks promising (they're in Louisville, Kentucky): http://www.cornerstonesign.com/data-plates/. I would also try trophy shops where they would make one-offs. Image Unavailable, Please Login
From the Bugatti Owners Club in the Uk you can get a replacement plate if you can prove the provenance of your car. Same should work with a Dino?
