Hi all, I don't post a lot in this section, but I am a frequent reader I have a question on an rear indicator light. I know it is from a 308, most likely from a Vetro. However I have never seen red indicator lights on a Vetro even not on a U.S. model. Also to my knowledge the early 308 didn't have chroom reflectors. Correct me if I am wrong but they have silver grey painted reflectors? Has anyone seen this on a 308? If yes, which one? Its from an early 76/77 308 Euro spec Vetro. They were made by SIEM before Carello started to supply the lights. And yes they did have chrome finish inside.
Thanks for the replies guys. Whoever has a 308 vetro with red indicator lights I would be interested in a picture. All the best, Tijn
I am not so sure about a 308. Unless very early in the run. The face looks flat is the reason, I wonder. I'm thinking maybe a 246.
246 are a bit smaller and the face is not flat Diameter is 14cm of this one. Same as a 308 and it carries 9255 of SIEM. Same indicator lens as the Vetro, but then red. Perhaps indeed an early run or even from a test car. I think we will never know.
