Yep, I have a few stories of the same thing also. Park 50m away from everyone else but come back out and see a car parked so close to me that I can barely open my door and slide into the car. 100%, full blown dickheads!!

I agree! I had actually been hit by other opening their door on the Ferrari. Grrr Not to mentioned just two weeks ago on my daily drive more grrrr Both times parked with plenty of space. I think people just don't respect others properties.
When I see a classic car in a car park, I try to park next to it (to protect it from less careful parkers). Not half a metre away though Sometimes it backfires taking up two spots. Some folks try to squeeze into the half spot either side.
and sometimes people think you're an arrogant prick parking like that, and think a fair punishment is to key the car.
or you can park "safely" at the curb and have a soccer-mom in her 4WD + tow bar touch-park the nose of your car. Worse still - a teenager busy texting who drives smack into the back of you...

A mate of mine took his R35 to their Alpine event last month. He said all the people he spoke to were really nice, down to earth guys. He got to go for a spin in a few of the cars and had a great time.

Man, it's the eighties all over again. The wording (complete with grammatical errors) reminds me of the "Billionaire Boys' Club". I'd love to see the bio's of the "two young aspiring men" who started it - I bet they're (a) Gen Y, and (b) have as much money as daddy will let them have.
