Lovely JM! I just bought a 5 kg box of Tiger prawns and 5x dozen oysters from the 'Prawn trawler'. He visits from Brisbane every few months and brings seafood. Had a few prawns this morning, very yummy!
Mate, you should only get kings !! And you guys have some great prawns from the Gulf, how come no-one brings prawns in from Karumba ??
Hmmmm. Stop trying to ply me with oysters. I'm not some hussy you met on a GG run. I'll put this year's bet (which I obviously won) in the bank and we'll do it again next year with some clearer rules. In the meantime I'm going to use this downtime (I haven't driven my car in weeks) to make some very tasteful mods to my car which - when combined with the faster gearbox and driver - will mean you're in more trouble than the early settlers come "track day" o'clock... I got kings last year, I change up every year just to have something slightly different. I had some prawns from Karumba last night at work, absolute rubbish. And the guys paid $40 kg, got 3x 1kg bags. They were small and very soft and mushy. The ones I got are beautiful!! Very very nice man and they cost $185 for a 5kg box. We made and ate 4 dozens oysters kilpatrick today and maybe ate a 3rd of the box of prawns. Will make a nice garlic prawn and rice dinner tomorrow for the family I think.
