So, someone bought it and immediately sent it over there in the hope of doubling their money? Or the dealer sent it? Anyway, nice car but wrong gearbox, silly carpet colour and wrong body type. Plus, it's now an import. Hopeless!
I think so Klink! Cheers smart arse! So Andre looked at this car in the UK and said it was a complete lemon? Or was the car originally here in Australia? That's why I asked which car you were talking about. This 355 Spider is listed for sale in the UK bruss.
He looked at it whilst it was still in Adelaide at the dealership either earlier this year or sometime late last year. I think he posted about it over at AE. Oops, wasnt adecorp it was grigio 6.0 and it was all the way back in 2011! F**k time flies. Here is the thread: http://aussieexotics.com/forum/ferrari/1999-ferrari-f355-spider-2499km-8979.40.html. If you go to page 1, it has the pictures of the car with the black carpets.
Lol, I see the service history behind it now. So it's an Aussie spec car sent to the UK now. I missed that in the pics Speedy posted up, was too busy looking at that lovely tan interior and 6 speed shift gate.
To be fair I know Grigio 6.0 personally and bought one of his Ferrari's and if the car had one sticky button he'd say it was a lemon. Hard to judge the car on his OCD to the max opinion. Most likely it would have had huge gaps between services, but so do most. At the time it was asking too much for the market, but now it would have sold in a heartbeat for 200k in Australia.
I don't normally post this stuff, but as it was first off the block on my Sunday gawk at C/S,I thought i'd do just that. Repost??? 1994 Ferrari 348 GT Competizione Manual
Formerly blue - resprayed yellow. Ex Japan car. Interested to see if it sells, was asking the same money when it was listed in Melbourne.
If its an ex Japanese delivery, then was it also converted to RHD?.........Japanese prefer their European cars in LHD due to the perceived status it confers and actually pay extra for the privilege.......When I was living there, they tell me point blank that a RHD drive Ferrari was a "fake".
The Vin is ZFFXR42C000107896, it's RHD car, imported from Japan, a former NSW owner ( and friend of mine ) discovered the colour change when he raised the headlights and discoverd some blue colour still visible. He subsequently sold it in early 2014. Again for sale in December 2015 ( Melbourne) , I understand P.H. Supercars did the last service on it
