488 GTB (458 replacement)

There is a Ferrari sports exhaust system for the 458 (replaces the mufflers) - many people just mix it up with the tips-only option.

Though they do go on to say "Ferrari considered giving this Spider a traditional convertible top but chose the targa top because it saved 55 pounds." Unlikely, that one had been set with the 458. So perhaps they're talking cobblers about the sound, too.

I just doesn't have that special grit... the sound of screaming bees going through a wood chipper! Naturally aspirated rules!

I do like those silver wheels. Very nice. They are a bit like the challenge wheels from the F430.

 

Agreed, I have never liked dark color wheels. Always looks like the owner is too lazy to take the time to clean them.

 

Agree this looks amazing. I actually changed my build today to standard rims so I can swap out with these.

Stop-Sale Order Issued For Ferrari 488 GTB After California T Recall

 

"While 185 California T models have been delivered in the U.S, no units of the new 488 GTB have reached customers hence while a stop-sale order has been announced rather than a recall."

Carbon noted on Facebook that he has proof of at least 3 customer deliveries already.

Not a big deal, just interesting.
