bought the car without too much knowledge, so here we go:

Can somebody tell me which of the parts shown in the pictures are OEM?
or maybe which ones are NOT oem?

My problem is that the shaft will slide into the quick-release but it won't click in there so
it won't stay. It looks like the culprit is the quick-release isn't working.

I need to know which part I need to replace to make it work. Obviously the quick-release has to go but I fear if I bought the OEM one, it won't fit the shaft or the steering wheel (if shaft&wheel are not oem)

    any ideas?

The steering wheel is made by Sabelt but during the time when Ferrari produced the 360 Challenge it was being sponsored by OMP so historically I am thinking that it may not be accurate to use this steering wheel on the 360 Challenge (if you care about such things). The F430 Challenge had this wheel but it had more buttons fitted so it may be a retrofit.

The snap off boss is from a motorsport company in the UK called Lifeline. Quick Release Steering Boss

So its curious that it has a misleading sticker saying 'Sparco' on it.

Its worth noting that the boss is security matched to the steering wheel so you won't be able to click-together if the boss is from a different wheel. I know this because I have two F430 Challenge steering wheels and they don't fit each others boss. They are specific.

    Hope this helps.

That should be the original 360C OMP wheel unless he took the wrong one from my 430C. Radio button was added since radio was not an OEM option on 360C.

Quick release is Sparco branded and purchased from Demon Tweeks UK.

Hub adaptor was custom made to accept the quick release so the wheel still sits correctly relative to F1 paddles.

Quick release hub is a fairly simple piece of equipment.

    Just make sure

    1. You pull fully on the spring loaded release ring.
    2. There are no nicks on the splines.
    3. The centering spline key is lined up.
    4. The detent release balls are not stuck from hardened grease.

Here is a Youtube video of how the release works.

There are actually two detents on the spline shaft. You need to insert the wheel completely to the second detent to fully seat the hub. It sounds like you only got it to the first detent so it has not seated fully.
