I have gone through all the material on the tool kits and I am still uncertain on one item. Initially I thought I have a rogue plyer, but on looking closer at the pictures of the ones in this thread, it looks just like the red/orange covered handle, but without the covered handles. So I started to now second guess myself and maybe it is the one which came with the tool kit for an april 77 build date? the degree of rust matches what the other tools have. So is this original to the tool pouch, or is it the later model plyer but missing the covered handles, or I am into wishful thinking and it is not period correct at all?

The shape between early, and late is different, as well as the size.
I will confess my tool kit pliers merged into the general tool box, years ago....

That could well be legit.....commanly called Lineman's pliers, (by Klien Tools, for the best ones) because of the cutting area integral to the working clamping ends...

Tom S. would be the one to know...

Okay, since the tool brain trust has been assembled and is paying attention, how about some opinions on EARLY 308 screwdrivers? I am looking for context around the 1974-75 Dino 308 GT4s and the Vetroresinas...

Here are six photos of "original" sets currently on fleaBay. Square tops, oval tops, four- and six-sided flutes.

    Talk amongst yourselves... :)

While mismatched, F is definately an exact match for my OEM ones, I pictured above.

Truthfully I think any of them would pass any judging as "original".....

Minor work on my 308 and have been looking at this thread for a bit and took the plunge to see what I had or more to the point missing (as usual)
    Just loved post#2
    Quote:
"Then “Utema” wrenches, which are the rarest; and the combination wrench 14/14mm the most difficult (Alberto…) "
    My luck that's what I have, minus the 15/14mm or 14/14mm,13/12mm, 11/10mm
The only other missing item, the medium phillips head (dark red/brown translucent)
Any tips for finding these? please don't say internet, I'm already looking there ;-)
Thanks as always and Happy New Year

Can't help with the wrenches, but I have a spare small Philipps screwdriver; not sure if it would be well matched to your other three...

Can anyone confirm if these are Ferrari screwdrivers?
One is 230mm long and the other 270mm.
    Many thanks for your help.[IMG][IMG]

I would say no, at least not for 308. Handle and proportion do not like what's commonly seen for 308s.

I think the Small Philipps I have might match all right, but I notice You have two Small flat blade (good: they are very rare...) but You seem therefore to miss one large flat blade (very difficult to find also...)

So the set that I have appears to be the late QV set with the "Ferrari only" wrenches. I want to be sure though when I go to list it. It has the four screwdrivers with dark handles and all 8 wrenches but that's it. The wrenches have Ferrari on one side and Chrom -Vanadium on the other side. They don't say Kravm anywhere.

Here is the one I have. Pictures are somewhat distorted but the true overall length is 18,2 mm. The one with the "Ferrari" script is here fore comparison purposes only, to show that it is identical.
(As stated above, you have two small flat one - good, as a small flat blade one is very rare and very valuable, but...you are missing the Big flat blade, also very rare)

Just for reference, a complete set that was just sold (auction) on eBay for US$1525. Notice that the large Philips is round-ended and others are flat-ended, similar to my set. 14/14mm CV Special Polytools wrench. It also comes with the window crank. Only that I don't see "fiocchi", but it's trivial:

I think these are legit. See my previous post on wrenches, this "Ferrari" only type of wrench was included as well. Screwdrivers are no doubt the right ones assuming they are the same as what nerofer just posted.

    That's a nice Polytools kit.......

We would call that a "late 308 roll, as it has the later style plug wrench included...

other than that it looks like one I sold last year to the UK, but mine had the early plug wrench.

this thread is making me sick to my stomach I didn't buy the multiple sets Ferrari/UK had for sale several years ago for ~$400...complete with everything but the carb tool (it was actually an 84/85 spec tools for a GTO).

I don't have the screwdrivers, spark plug tool or pliers.

More like ten years, brother.....I sent the last extra tool roll set off last week, for #22641.

I have one more jack kit, though...
