I'm a little curious what the average age of the Countach buyer is. Specifically anyone that has bought in the last two years. This is a private poll, so anyone that has bought please vote.

Ralph, I don't think you have to worry about any of those, unless you've made some progress. We need a Ralph restoration thread! :)

I plan on setting a poll up (or modifying this one) for the rest. I was just curious if there was any difference over time. I remember reading an article that stated the average buyer age was 55. When I was shopping about 10 years ago, most of the sellers/buyers seemed to be right at 35-40, but that was just a guess.

Bought first at 40. When I was 10 I had a Countach poster pinned to the ceiling right above my bed.

10 years ago I was age of 23 when I bought mine (yes, with my own money) and I am very glad that I did so and strongly suggest all young readers out there do the same. (so get your ass up and go get those Diablo's and Murcielago's)

So much for that 55 crap.

38 when bought my first. More than likely it's the internet wealth that has driven the age down from the 80's.

I can see the 55 age back in the 70's with the Espada, Jarama, and even the Urraco in production.

Oliver a Countach at 28 is rock star material! Peter the 55 number was from an article back when the Countach was first introduced.

Bought mine at 43. Love it. Poster kid as well. I actually am hoping that no one makes me a serious offer on mine. I mean that. However, the good news is that based upon how quickly one of my other assets has sold, I likely can take my Countach off the market soon. I know I will always regret selling it if I did. I had a bunch of posters and magazines, like this one.

Bought my 1st LP400S in 1985, was 44 at the time, bought another one in 90. bought my 11th and last, so far, an 87 FI in 96. So I was 55 when I bought the 87.
Have a total love for all of them, well not so much the 25th, but still.
Am building a special 600 hp engine for the 87, everything in the engine is special hand made to my specs. That along with a hand made twin disk push clutch and a mini starter, and custom made headers with 3 in exhaust system.
Am slowly building engine, but have several to build for some friends, so mine comes last.
Will show pics of it and show how to build one of these engines, which is really not that hard.

I bought mine just over 10 years ago.

I was 45 at the time.

It has been without a doubt the most frivolous, money and time consuming purchase of my life.

I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it all over again.

    Interesting thread.

I purchased my first personal Countach in 1987 at age 26, and have been buying them ever since, about a dozen cars over the next 28 years.
