Gentlemen, I am looking for someone knowledgeable about these cars - from production numbers to destination, possible ownership history. I am trying to get more history and possibly localize one of these cars of which my knowledge limits itself to a set of pictures. 25 cars left the factory, hence localizing the one I am looking for should be doable, but I lack knowledge. All I know the car was a dark-coloured round headlight model and resided from 1965 to 1970 at least in Poland, likely not on a permanent basis. First, a picture from 1965, at the opening of the Grand Theater Opera in Warsaw, then two pictures from 1970 in Katowice, lower Silesia. The fact a Dual Ghia was living in communist Poland in the sixties is already quite improbable, and quite a story to tell. Any help is appreciated. If anyone has a knowledge of someone running a registry of these, it would be helpful. Especially given the fact they sell for 400k+. I am familiar with these pics and the fact that there was a L6.4 in Poland (from seeing it somewhere else on the net while researching for the history of the model for an article I wrote) but don't know it's history or details. Maybe it can be helpful that one L6.4 was advertised in Italian Quattroruote magazine around 1990. as it is the only other occurence of that model in Europe I know about. Might be the same one as probably all the others went to USA when new.
In the Sixties and Seventies, a black one was daily seen in Zurich, owned from a bank director. Around ten years ago this (?) car was still in the country.
Tried to get in touch via his university email with Dr. Paul Sable who is a specialist in L6.4s but no reply so far...
