Bought one a week ago as my DD, first real American performance car I have owned. I already have a Reb/Black 458 Italia and a Titanio F12, and the Z can hold its own in this company.
    The Z06 is amazing!
AC is frigid, seat cooler works, blutooth streaming is flawless....not stressed about parking anywhere.
So much fun to drive, especially since 3-pedal manual, remove the T-Top, American V8 burble-sound; oh youth again! :)
    This will get "seat time."
    Love it!
For those of you who turn a nose up at a car like this...I recommend you go drive one...650 lb-ft of torque can be addictive.

Awesome collection of cars! Not sure how anyone could turn their nose up at 650 hp/650 lb-ft!

Be happy to, but only have a couple more at the moment.
Was driving today with the top off in about 83F temp, had the seat coolers on and the AC running...was very comfortable. :)

The car is stunning. I've seen one with the A-pillar and outer rail of the roof painted red and it looked great.

    Thanks guys!
Had it 1 week and have put on just about 700 miles. :)
Found out one thing...with roof off...if you floor it, after about 50 yards you just might lose your baseball cap..damn! Gawd knows where that thing landed. Had to show up at a friend's house looking like some '80s hair band member....come to think of it I might have had Ratt blasting....

With that manual gearbox in the Z06 I imagine that 458 is gonna collect dust. The new Z06's are fantastic cars.

Totally agree. I just finished the 3rd track day in mine, M7, Z07, Comp seats.

Have you burnished your brakes yet?

Beautiful car ! I'm going to say this not to jinx you but rather to save you the trouble.

Corvette owners have for many many years who are intelligent......believe it not....is many of us have had this happen....where we forgot to latch the roof....before driving off...

I know it sounds ridiculous...but it's happened to many of us...

It's worse than just loosing you cap...

I hope you remember this story and whenever you put the roof on....no matter what....latch it on....never say...I'll do it later...

Beautiful car and a great stablemate to your other fantastic ride...the Ferrari.

C7 is an awesome car. But I'm losing my luster on the look. I'm a huge corvette fan, but the C7 just seems to be a bit over done in the cosmetics department. MHO only.

Very nice, though the C7 has grown on me, so much so that I bought a 2016 Z51 over the weekend from the folks at Kerbeck. Should be here later in the week.

What is the story about the overheating and power loss that is being reported for cars that are being tracked?

My C7 showed up last Thursday, and while it is not as fast as a Z06 (or as nice looking), and I did need to compromise and get the 8 speed auto (girlfriend a vette lover and will not drive a stick & 3.7 sec 0-6 is not exactly slow), I must say they have come a long way from the C6 Z06 I had as my last corvette. Though the drive by wire hesitation is even worse than it was on the C6. This car has the Z51 package and I had it out yesterday in under 25 degree weather and the tires were not great but better than expected. I have made my list of what needs to be changed and while it goes in for the winter I will begin bringing in the parts I will need to make those changes in the spring.
