Is that you Phil in the driver seat? Awesome... Thanks for sharing. Would love for lots of others to share pics of their rides as often as they can!

In addition to 1975 Turbos, I wonder if tax-free status also includes 1976 Turbos made prior to Jan 1, 1976?

Received in the mail...:) Auto Art 1:18 scale 1976 Turbo model, silver w/ black leather fitted w/ sunroof and non-A/C. Inaccuracies; 1981+ RoW front fender indicators, center console, gold-painted engine fan, and no rear wiper. On the plus side; perfect ‘75/76 rear shelf rectangular cutouts for the 5 inch diameter Blaupunkt speakers, period-correct 1970s Mixo red trumpet horns, snorkel headlight washers, and Pirelli P7 tires.

Out of stock on Autoart's webpage but you can find them on eBay. The version I have is without Turbo graphics.

Interesting to see how few 930 ROW are currently for sale compared to US ones. It is very difficult to come up with a quotation for a ROW 930 3.0 in Europe at the moment. The few that are for sale are US models, lemons or molested. That last decent one I saw was a black 75 at Thiesen which was reportedly sold for about 420.000 euros a few month ago (restored, not even original).

Interesting observation ... I would agree that ROW 3.0 are difficult to find even in Europe where I assume the majority was originally sold.
I suppose the attrition rate on the ROW was higher due to them being mostly driven hard and on the account of the dreaded salt on German roads.

The turbo graphics are not original to the car.

Wrong tail lights. Wrong center caps in the wheels.

Becker Mexico Stereo is unusual but possible. COA would need to be requested.

Weird over-spray on the VIN sticker in the door and on the body along with it.

The rear PORSCHE reflector looks like it's the ghost version? or whatever the heck people call it whereby the letters are faint?

The Ralph Cutright Porsche + Audi dealer installed the Becker Mexico for $350. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144020370-post4143.html

In Ryan's new 2.7 Carrera book in 1976- 5% of the MFI Carrera's were emerald green, hard to know if this same percentage would apply to 76 turbo's but the information must exist at Porsche.

Agreed. And so many were transformed into race or rally cars. For example, my neighbour here has one of the earliest 75 but the car looks like anything but a 930 now and he keeps modifying it... I considered buying it, but it would cost a fortune to bring back to its former glory...

Also a number are sold off-market, like many classics now. This is actually how I bought mine.

I do not even talk about auction sales. Unfortunately, auctions nowadays no longer bring out the nicest examples, unlike some time ago. The ones that come to auctions are often the ones that would not sell easily otherwise. Beautiful examples sell at price and do not need to go to auctions. This is also why auctions prices probably do not reflect real market prices. That's the classic market-for-lemons problem.
