As noted in the GT4 thread, my Targe 4 GTS arrived last last week. Weather has been bad, but finally was nice enough Sunday to get it out and see what it could do.

Although I am keeping the revs down for break in, the power is good, handling is great, steering feel and weight are perfect.

I would say it is 90% of my GT3 or so and the top goes down and my youngest kids can easil fit in the back seats!

Interior is the same as the GT3.

Much quieter on the road than I expected.

I am very pleased. I like it much better than the GT4 for what I wanted.

The targa has always been my favourite, love the newest variant with the alloy hoop.

the top in motion does not interfere with anyone in the car... every thing lifts up high and back clearing anyone in the back... not an issue

Somewhere there's a vid of the top retracting... you've never see so many struts, levers and things moving every which way.

Absolutely fantastic car...I commented to a friend not long ago that my ideal modern P car garage would be a Targa 4 GTS and a GT4!

Congrats, love those in white, too!

    Yes, I agree, it's a fantastic car!

    My Targa 4GTS...
Naturally aspirated engine, seven speed manual, nice exhaust sound and fast and planted.
It's really such a thrill to drive!
installed a winter package wheel set to enjoy it in the winter too.

I love the 991 Targa. The Ruf version with the twin turbos is probably my favorite car currently in production.

    Enjoy in good health! :)

I think they did a great job of the retro look with the top and the "targa bar". However, I think it would be a huge hit even if Porsche had not done the Targa before.
