Pedro, I could not see any photos on that forum - can you post them here?

I like the original Disco Volante. I'm very curious since all of Tecnomodels 1:18 pieces so far have had many problems, and just look more like upgraded Bburago toys rather than great collector models....... but there is always the possibility that they can and will improve.

    Thank you gt4me.

That model does look pretty darn good in those photos. It seems they did a good job with this one - much better than with their vintage cars.

Sorry Marshall, i forgot you have to be registered in the forum to see the pics, they are much better there, besides teh red one, they also have a silver version and a green with gold wheels, all look amazing!!! I might be wrong but to me this really looks like a very good model from tecnomodel.
By the way, i'm considering a 250 sperimentale from stirling Moss, heve you seen it, what's your opinion about it?

Pedro, thanks and I did see pics, and now of all 4 color versions of that Alfa model. Wow... it really does look great, and far better than their other 1:18 models to date.

Yes, I have seen ALL 4 versions of their 1:18 scale 250 Sperimentale as well as their old previously produced editions of the same car in smaller 1:24 scale. The 1:24 scale models are MUCH better, and MUCH more detailed. All around detail on the exterior and interior were better, more plentiful, and more accurate. They even had engines. I bought and sold the 1:18s for customers here. I love this car, and originally I was going to keep one of the models for myself, but it was just not a great model,I was disappointed with them, so I did not keep one. But I do have one of the 1:24 scale pieces in my collection already. I guess if I didn't have the 1:24 model, then I would have kept one of the 1:18s - and Tecnomodels might be the only ones making this car in this scale.

I heve theyr 512s coda lunga...and the model is a bit rough but, i think the overall image is pretty good, detail wise not so much, but i simply adore that car, and nobody else was making it so i had to take the plunge...probably will do the same with the sperimentale, it's such a pretty car, and that blue with the stripe, just gorgeous, i already have the Moss swb from mattel, so this would be a great companion for it i guess, let's see if i can get a decent price on it....

I have some of their 1/43 250 tr's I think they are done incredibly well and easily on par with bbr. I also have some 1/43 Aston's, and some more modern Ferrari's. These both have amazing shapes but headlight areas and windshields definitely should be watched in my opinion. I recently got my dad a 1/18 tecnomodel for Christmas, in person it's simply amazing for the cost. I absolutely love this car and sat by one for about 6 hours within the last year. I find the shape to be perfecto

sorry for the cruddy cell phone picture
