What did they actually call it?

    All the best,

Oh dear, that's a little unfortunate. Makes me think of Microsoft's Windows Vista, which was hardly associated with good things.

I really like the exterior, but hope they do something more traditional with the interior if they put it into production. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Peter DeLorenzo, Mr. autoextremist.com in his usual snarky manner had this to say about the Avista name:
"Great, sounds like a new anti anxiety drug. WTF?"

Quite nice; hips and C remind of AM Vanquish prompting more letters from AM's lawyers no doubt.
Watched the vid on Autoline and the doors are ENORMOUS! Needs 3 parking places if you and your passenger both want to exit the car...

The did that with the 95 Riviera... very modern, slick, nice on the exterior.
It was as nice then as this is now.

But, open the door and it's Grandpa's Buick. Ancient dash, 50's Oldsmobile couch seats... awful.

Those that liked the exterior hated the interior. (me)

    and vice-versa.

The first Buick pic looks very Maserati to me (just with a bit of extra bling added)

It more or less obliterates the whole thing, doesn't it?

If the dynamics are there this could be a turning point for them.

    Let's hope.

I think he tried to hard. His electric thingy was far more successful because it showed he knew when to stop.

I worked extensively on the Lexus LF-LC concept, it is nice to see that a lot of the concept came through.
Fiskar has lost it. He should stop. (IMHO)
And there is no way that Aston Martin stole any of that.

.....R U Sirius? This front end is an OTT embarrassment!

Qvb, I hope all the 'other parts' were your contribution ;-) things look much better as you look at the rest of the design....

(yes, this is of course an "IMHO" viewpoint, to be taken accordingly) and certainly I have no idea what they were thinking.....can anyone justify this design, objectively?
