Don't think I've ever heard of spam on pizza. Might be good.

Neither had I until this afternoon, but I know that Spam is popular in Hawaii, and Hawaiian pizza from college had ham and pineapple. Replace ham with Spam, voila! Oh yeah, and I had a tin of Spam in the pantry and no ham in the fridge! :)

Am going to use this recipe as a starting point.

Think I'm going to add some red onions. Should be good if I sautee & caramelize a little...T

I used this pizza dough, which is crazy cheap and crazy good. Just have to remember to thaw; on a counter top abt 4 hours. It's sticky, so helps to have some corn meal, flour, etc. to work it into a pizza round with minimal fuss.

Sauteed red onions. Diced Spam Lite (less salt & fat than regular Spam!). Pineapple slices. Place these over a prebaked pizza skin, on to which you've already slathered olive oil, then tomato sauce, then mozz. Cook about 400 F for ca. 10 mins, last few mins turn on the boiler for Maillard reaction goodness. Sprinkle a few drops of Tabasco habanero sauce before eating. Yumbo!

The bites where you get a bit of Spam, pineapple and red onion were awesome, if I say so myself. 😉

    Excellent work, Tom!

Usually make our own dough from 00 flour but sometimes hard to find in the grocery here so we buy on Amazon.

Thank you. It was tasty and used up some items I had in the pantry, so win-win.

You can find tipo 00 here in a high end store like Central Market, but Amazon works as well. I used 00 for pasta only, until I got a tip on it for pizza from an F-chatter. I have had good luck with Antimo Caputo. Do you have a preferred brand?

Could you rub some left-overs on the screen? Do it softly though because we don't wanna wake up the cat or let him smell it (he will eat it all).

That actually looks great. I'll be honest the spam on pizza idea didn't sound all that appealing for some reason. And I like spam. But it looks like you pulled it off.

As for dough I'm lazy and usually just buy the pre-made stuff from Trader Joe's. They have it fresh refrigerated and it's really tasty.

It was better than I was expecting. I think it helped that I kept the salt at a minimum in the other ingredients, since Spam is pretty salty to start with...T

This is like being on facebook (and reminds me of why I haven't logged into my account for the past 14 months).... but I digress. Tonight I'll probably have leftover homemade mac and cheese, and last night I had leftover tacos. I mostly eat lighter for dinner during the week.

Now I'm sitting at my desk, and getting ready to jump into work, in case you are wondering.

I didn't wear a tie today since no meetings.

I have a theory that FB has forums traffic down.

Tonight is overpriced and overcooked bacon cheese burgers. My aunt is disabled and on a disability pension, very limited income. My parents supplement her income. They give her an weekly allowance. My mom can't get to her this week. So I'm delivering the money and taking her to her favorite restaurant.

No dishes to wash is always a good thing and your "family first" attention is what counts and says a lot about the person you are. Oh and extra mayo helps on overcooked burgers (been there done that). My mother and fathers health has taken a turn for the worst lately so the "care taking" has increased a bit but I enjoy taking care of them.

Oh great now I want a cheeseburger, damn you! lol

I think getting to spend time with her nephew greatly outweighs everything else but not having any dirty dishes is a close 2nd, I kid. LOL

For some odd reason I cannot attach images on this darn laptop anymore, out of warranty/driver issues, or I would post a picture of todays lunch...mom's homemade chicken spaghetti.

Is being like Facebook good? Bad? Serious question, since I'm not on, and never have been, on Facebook.

BTW, with left over Mac & cheese, and if you have any ground beef from the tacos, a little more Velveeta (or fontina), a microwave, you're sitting pretty!

I tried FB about 5 or 6 years ago. Mostly people I went to high school with and it was interesting hearing from them. But it got boring.

LOL. No and my wife is possessive type! :)
I may have to add that to the meal list, because I used to eat a ton of mac and cheese based meals when I was a single & just starting out in the biz.
