    Hi Phil,
My opinion is that GT4 prices should increase again next year and that there is decent margin. I do not think it is unreasonable to see nice examples in the 150,000 € region next year. With prices going up, many bad examples have come on the market pressuring prices down. The market has to absorb these models which (rightly) need to be sold at lower price. Another italian car in a pretty similar situation is the Alfa Montreal. Since prices have gone up, many ugly ones have come up and market prices have go a little bit down as a result, but the nicest models are rare and sell for very high price. And because these cars were so cheap at some point many have been moltested or neglected. So it may take some time for market to absorb these examples. In addition winter time historically is never good for the market. It is the spring period and the first classic fairs that will set the tone.
In any case, if you have nice example and can afford to wait, then you should keep the car. I think it is more a mid-term investment. Like for many cars, the golden era has passed!
    Just my modest opinion.

    So do I.

The whole F-Car market is standing still this times. There have been "two or three" sales underestimated at auctions, the rising speed has slowed down, but IMO in spring the prices will rise again.

    Interesting. Thank you.

Mine is a '74 UK car in really nice solid and honest condition, with a good service history going back around 30 years. It isn't concourse, but it is in excellent condition, so probably worth holding on to. :)

Hi Markus, I would like to believe the market will continue to rise, but with the reality of the world economy, oil prices and generally a complete lack of confidence in the economic future, I think we have seen the peak pricing and are now in for a sustained decline in prices. How do I know...?, I don't. Just my 2c worth.

    Regarding the centre console?
Standard on Aussie cars, perhaps a Left to Right conversion thing at the factory.
    Mine is like that.

Just had a look at GT4 images on google, looks like I maybe correct.

Nice but leather does not correspond to the original one and not perfectly tense and you can see that straight away. The Connolly Vaumol is very different from this normal leather. But seems nice apart from that.

I'm pretty sure I looked at this same car (at forza) yrs ago. It needed a major and was missing the rear brake calipers. I think the engine does have ss valves-I know at least the top end was rebuilt. Somebody must have bought it and gave up on that body work, and truthfully to do it right will take either a lot of elbow grease or a good lump of $$. SS valves would make this real attractive if you can do the body/paint yourself

Yup-love that 250 swb! (at least I think that's what the pic above is)

I'm getting a euro gt4 eventually. I just couldn't cut up the back of my car to get that rear bumper-and the boxer paint hides them but man the euros look good-esp in non red, my opinion

Of course this one looks pretty damn good in red

This one's just come on the market here in the UK and looks to be a nice early example:

    Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino |

Although it's shown as POA, it's priced elsewhere at £58k, which is about US$87k, so it's strong money for a GT4, but pleasing to see as it is very similar to mine in many respects e.g. condition, mileage, year.
