Dan , I have a chairs and flares dino for sale that meets your requirements. Call me at 412-721-6024 or email [email protected]
1. Welcome to FCHAT. 2. Sorry to disappoint you, but Dan's been out of the hunt since 09/24/2010. See post # 73 above. I don't know if he still visits FCHAT to look, but that was his last post on FCHAT. 3. Maybe you might want start a new thread with some photos of your car, including the serial number, and other relevant information. Be careful not to mention that it is for sale - if you want to sell it, I think you will need to list it in the for sale section which likely requires a subscription. Or, maybe the poster who has asked about a Silver Dino might be interested. In any event, we'd at least be happy to see some photos of your C&F Dino. Mark

when I look at the ownership history, when was the car in Italy for restoration...?! flares original?!
+1, Some angles tell. In the '80s and '90s adding Flares was a way to make a very rare/expensive Dino without much cost. Denny Schue's Dino Register was a hobby and nobody really had a reference except their own eye so a lot of these got out. Danny Z and I were at Monterey in 1994 when a dealer had "restored" a Yellow GTS and added Flares. He came in second at the Concours and we were shaking our heads...
I called this owner a few weeks ago Flares were added I told him the car is worth more without them And he should advertize as such I think he got insulted
I don't follow Dino pricing as closely as most of you here. But, that said, is the $820k asking price for this car "market correct"? DM
I think, there's many miscues, that do not warrant the $$$. Besides the GTS aspect, I think one would do better seeking a Euro GT. Those marker light, ugh! One could wear burgundy cardigan shoes in that car and you'd look barefoot, and the headrest inserts might hurt some. Regards, Alberto
I understand a “Normal” GTS market, try finding a driver today..... We are all in a new territory Shawn
Shawn, clearly, everyone has jumped on the Dino bandwagon. I know of 1 driver, but have lost touch with the owner. Will try to reach out, but knowing him, it is still in a garged, but been left alone for the past 30 years or so. Regards, Alberto
