930 Turbo Carrera

Funny, so much talk about $$$, it's easy to forget these are fantastic classic cars. Looking at acquiring a boat for the wife and I to cruise in, seems to make the 930 money seem tiny in comparison.

 

The fact that they are fantastic classic cars is not lost on anyone here.

 

Couldn't agree more- we're all damn lucky to owned one or two of these. I've owned lot's of Porsche's over the years but these are really something special.

The car in the picture is #233, it has 5,000 miles from new or something in that range it was owned by a friend who sold it last year

 

My Salmon Metallic 75 also mentions an interior to sample on the COA, fortunately I had pictures from the day the car was delivered when new and I could see the interior was originally white like yours

 

Jose - could you share those pics?

Thanks. It would be nice to see the Vasek Polak stamps in the owner's manual. Vasek must have sold quite a few Turbo Carreras but I've yet to see any of his dealer stamps or the plastic card with dealer number like this one in the back of this viper green metallic '76 Turbo Carrera manual.

Here is one picture of the day the car was delivered in Hong Kong.

They were given to me when I bought the car, and after that I was able to contact the original owner who still lives in HK he gave me the same pictures and confirmed this one was taken the day he took delivery of the car.

The car is about to be ready of a 2 year full restoration back to its original colors.

Unfortunately my car did not have the original owners manual so the stamp was not there, in fact I recently sold #61, Im going to focus on 75's only.

My car has the same black and white two tone interior. I can make out the shelf being black and seats white.

The side mirrors look different from this pic vs the last, no?

 

The original mirror was replaced later on with 2 of the flag style mirrors, it was delivered from the factory with a small chrome mirror like on an earlier long hood 911
