I managed to sell all the separate tools I had for sale on Ebay from the incomplete tool kit I bought. They are off to Hong Kong, Brazil, Italy and Cheshire UK and all to FerrariChat contributors. Very pleased that I got my money back and that other owners got to complete their tool kits as well.

It was in a Schedoni box, similar to the 355 kits, IIRC.

But yes, those are the Facom tools.
Which I think are quality professional grade items???

A bit of nationalistic pride allowed here? FACOM is french...
Founded in 1918 in Paris by ingénieur Louis Mosès; "FACOM" means "Franco-Américaine de Construction d'Outillage à Main" (French American [company] for manufacturing Hand-held tools) although the exact meaning of "American" was never clear to me.
Since 2006, a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker.

Absolutely! I have a few Facom tools and love working with them. As well as with the quite a few BETA tools I have. They are not only professional grade. It's a haptic pleasure to work with them. Not so with a lot of german pro tools like Stahlwille or Hazet.

Surprisingly the Facom tools are more expensive in France than in Germany.

    Best Regards
    Martin

Good luck with those original screwdrivers. Rarely you see them for sale in a pack of the correct 4 pieces and usually gone shortly after advertising. eBay is still your best bet. You can consider buying an incomplete set then sell the unnecessary tools, faster that way I reckon.

That's amazing. Although no real idea what the screwdrivers sold for as it says best offer accepted. I need to get off my duff and start listing my stuff.

Thanks to a Chat member for confirming the pliers that are included in a kit I have listed on eBay are original,,,Ferrari 308 328 T R 512 Tool Kit and Jack Kit | eBay
I have had a dozen early cars and not sure of which car they were from.
I also have a targa cover listed if anyone needs one. Thanks!

The pliers is a bit odd combination with the wrenches and screwdrivers as those are for late QV but these black all metal pliers should appear in carb or 2V i 308s. The spark plug wrench looks like 21mm inner crown measurement for 308 instead of 328.

The black jack kit is for QV or 328 and looks good!

The emergency light is for TR I believe.

Missing the emergency triangle and the window crank to complete the set.

    My 2 cents and GLWS.

    Exactly what I thought:
    1. those pliers are not standard for an "injected car" tool kit, but rather for carbed cars; the "pliers for injected cars" should have a orange plastic sheath on the handles, the format of these handles depending on the car being an early injected 2-valve or a late QV.
    2. the screwdrivers do not have the "ferrari" white script on the handles, so this is probably not a 328 tool roll, especially as (as said by Steven) the spark plug tool looks like the "21mm inner crown" so adapted to the 14mm plugs of the 308, and NOT the "18mm inner crown" adapted to the 12mm plugs of the 328.
    3. Furthermore, the bulb box looks like the "rotor" one, not the one with the twelve side pegs usually found in 328 jack bag (although some 328 jack bags were indeed delivered with the "Rotor" bulb box). As for the emergency triangle (which should be a "Costaplastik"), it is indeed not there, but it is not "missing", as the american market cars were delivered without it.

So I would take the risk to say that this is a 308 "injected" (either "i" or "QV") tool roll, but not a 328 tool roll and not a carbed car either.
May I take the liberty to suggest that it would be much more attractive with the "OEM correct" pair of pliers? And not wishing to be too harsh, but I notice that one of the large screwdrivers, the flat blade one, is shorter than the other large one, the Phillips?

Just got the 3 Heyco/Wiha wrenches and they look fantastic and very close to the original Utema's in my kit. $30 for all 3.
By the way, I'll keep looking for originals if and when they come up for sale, white flag of surrender taken down.

I concur, this set (VERY nice by the way) is an early injected or QV version.
    Nice Polytools wrenches
    Later plug wrench style
Black jack kit, not early yellow.
    Early non insulated pliers.

We don't get the safety triangle in North American kits!
Although by some accident, I have one.....

I certainly would not call this "incorrect" as there is so much variance in what actually went in the trunk , and dealers played a part, in the 'mix and match', too IMO

I'm a driver, as my over 100 K miles make the concours thing futile.
This has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while. Any thoughts? I know that the screw drivers are the wrong color.

I might be able to part with it , but don't want to sell individual pieces.

Any thoughts of what it might be realistically be worth. Don't like Flea Bay.

    Any thoughts appreciated

BTW anybody know what that little black plastic hose is for.

And I also have the two belts that came with it when I bought it.
