    Fellow modellers,
First of all I like to whish you A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Many thanks to Tom and Marcelo on the information about TWO CAT MODELOS.
Meanwhile I got in contact with Paulo, and the 212 E is ordered and is about to get shipped soon.
If anybody else is interested, see below information directly from Paulo´s email:
(No, I don´t get any profit out of this information)

„…. The Ferrari 212 E is still in production. I have none in stock and cast the parts as the ordering is confiremd.
The kit has a small etched set and all the parts are casted in urethane resin. No rubber tyres. decals are well printed in Germany by Tin Wizard (as the etches). Basic parts for engine and a full body shell and cock pit parts.
The kit's price is US$ 130,00 plus US$ 25,00 shipping. Payment can be done by the Paypal. Usually delivery = 10 days after confirmed ordering.
Here some photos of the parts and built model.
Also included the kits in productuion. Soon I will be back to production of Porsche 908/2 and 910, plus a D Type Jaguar. Alfa Romeo 33 TT12 is a future releasing.

If you use facebook, you can find me at "Paulo Henrique Souza (Paulo Fiote)" –
-or email to [email protected] or [email protected] …“

The kit shows the early prototype version with a closed 330P4 like rear end.
At all races the car had an opened rear.
    All the best from Germany
    Klaus

Thanks for the info. I posted a few of these many pages back. I want the Alfa 33 TT12.

Also the Breadvan is not that good. Your best bet is to get the Carrera slotcar and convert to a model.

Do I see a lateral depression in the roof between the doors and do you have an estimated price for the transkit, if that were come to fruition?

If those sold, it might be cool to see a Lusso conversion transkit, although I admit I don't know enough about Ferrari types regarding the relative wheelbase measurements and didn't think ahead to look before posting this.

I do see a shadow line but not worried, it is for a one off built model I am working on.

Again, price of a trans kit is sketchy. It totally depends on how many I would do. This example including glass, decals and coating is just under 1K including 3D development. A good 2 part mold is about $500.00 so it's already getting pretty costly to consider doing any castings unless there is a market for about 50.

MFH announced the Cobra and Eagle really close together, I wonder if they intend to step up releases. I guess we'll know if they announce another close on the heels of the 917.

I think the Eagle was really a January release that came out on December 25th due to the holidays. The 917K is a February release. I hope they don't speed them up to much as that would cause more mistakes to be made. Still waiting for the 330LMB and #6885 :)

Both of those are excellent choices of beautiful cars. Those and the Daytona Cobra. I'm going to have to start a Christmas fund for myself so I can be sure to have funds ready if they decide to follow your wish list. MFH's recent release schedule is killing me.

Great idea. Now you can get both the 250 engines and wire wheels in separate kits.

I just hope they do a 250 GTO/LMB or 330 LMB. Finish the GTO collection :) I would guess the next 1/12th Ferrari will be a 512S/M or 312PB....Or maybe a 250LM. I would be surprised if they ever did a street Ferrari in 1/12th.

Great news! I wasn't looking forward to casting all those parts in resin, even if cost would have been about the same for materials. Metal will look much better, although no ancillary assemblies seem to be included (carbs, ignition, etc.). Thanks!

Carbs will be included [evident from the velocity stacks]. I have asked Mr HIRO if the headers will be included...he said what are headers? he,he,he. So I explained...waiting to hear back.
