    plenty of options:

    ice racing

    snow rally

winter performance driving (Lime Rock does one, I think through Skippy)

sliding your winter beater around empty streets before the snow plows get out ;)

    vacation to somewhere warm :p

Doing both the above, well not the sliding part because we have no snow. Mebee with snow I could ski, tuned the skies this week.

But still, the track is such a full experience that right now I am suffering wirdrawls, coupled with the eager anticipation a 5 year old has for spring.

Get on plane? Go south or west? Rent race car? Run a one off in a race series?

Must warn you though, the depression is even worse when you get back ; )

Working on the Gt40 this week, sorting all the things that cropped up last year. Seems like there is plenty of time, but I know spring comes up suddenly.

Thats the one positive of the downtime, lots of leisure to sort the various cars.

Still of to Fl for a few weeks in feb, waterskiing and sailing. Cant wait to be barefoot and in shorts for a few weeks. After that maybe 6 weeks till its ok to track again.
    Still a drag.

Maybe next year one of those ford Focus STis will blow the winter doldrums away.

Boxerman, how often does your indoor karting league run?

That should be enough seat time for you while it is cold outside?

I just completed another 3hr karting enduro this past weekend as part of an informal winter league.

It is a great workout and a great way to keep sharp while it is cold outside.

I love sliding around on the ice and snow. How else could you have that much fun like being over the limit on asphalt at low speeds that make it almost impossible to damage your vehicle

This weekend may be the only one which allows for ice racing in the Northeast US this year (all other events have been cancelled so far). So get out there if you can!

Too bad I already have ski plans in VT. -18 F....brrrrrr

I'd do anything for this Phoenix weather right now

They were snowboarding in Fenway last night. Tonight I'm coaching my kids in a winter baseball league in this indoor sports plex warehouse thing. I have no idea how I ended up in Boston
