Shared a smoke with my son. He had a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona and I tried an Asylum 13 that I received as a gift. That cigar was gigantic! Note that the Hoyo is not a small with 55 ring gauge, the Asylum is 70!!! Anybody has tried it? Not bad, medium an excellent draw. Image Unavailable, Please Login
just had a la aurora cien anos shaped...very nice. burned beautifully and tasted great from beginning to end!!!! I would recommend to all of you. kyle, have you tried it? thoughts?
Nope I have not had that. I tend to avoid Miami Cigar Co/Nestor Miranda blends though. But I did enjoy a couple of the La Aurora Perfectos years ago, but the company changed hands and I haven't had one since.
If you guys like Opus X and Destino al siglos and Angels Shares be on the lookout at your local shops! Fuentes cleared their warehouse and bag of goodies just before Jan 1 and those shipments should be arriving now. We got some very, very beautiful cigars and have more arriving Wednesday!
kyle, I bought 3 of the torpedo shaped cien anos...all drew well and burned very evenly. the taste was very rich and creamy. medium bodied. $18 per stick in CA. give one a try if you have a chance.
I'm heading to Orlando this weekend for a trade show. Can anyone recommend a cigar lounge in the area ?
Thanks Kyle, Corona is 8 minutes from the hotel I'm staying at...will definitely spend some time there .
