I thought I would leave this here for all my Ferrari mates on the East Coast...I know many people are going to be happy to hear this...

I just got the great news that Dean Romer is now with Wide World Ferrari as the parts manager!

He left FCNJ last year and now he is back with his old team.

They already had Danny Garbacz and Charlie O'Connor in the Service department (also former FCNJ guys) and now Dean in parts. I would say that this team is one of the most knowledgeable Ferrari guys in the East Coast.

So talking about building a Dream Team...I think they got it!

    Alex

He is still the owner, and what I hear he is great...

He is hiring the best of the best.

I bought my Ferrari at FCNJ, but now I followed my trusted Tech and I always had an awesome experience.

No, they haven't crashed a customer's Enzo, but they have crashed a customer's FF while it was in for service...oops!

Accidents can happen to anyone. The question is: "Did they do the right thing and make the customer whole?". Willingly and without a hassle.

Wow, Mike's still there!! I haven't been by to see him for probably 5-6 years. I have no sense of his business practices, but he was always a gentleman. Last time I was down, I brought my young son with me to show him the cars and try a Maserati QP. Mike gave him a cool Ferrari cap, he still has it.

    Cheers, - Art

(BTW - Mike M is the GM. Unless there's been a drastic change. Ownership of the building and franchise is the New Country Motor Car Group. I was the Construction Administrator for the architecture firm that designed the "new" facility back in 2007).

It's my understanding that they didn't do the right thing, but there's a thread that speaks of it.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-f12/479056-dealer-crashes-customer-car-part-2-a.html

In addition I've seen how poorly they treat clients, especially those who have bought multiple F-cars over the years, so I don't know how much of a dream it is, maybe it more like a nightmare...

Apparently there were additional circumstances involved, so I do stand corrected. After recently visiting Wide World and speaking with them, it does seem that they do in fact have a good team in place.

As with any story, there are always two sides and I apparently didn't have all of the details.
