Does anyone have a complete copy of Microsoft Office they're willing to part with? I'm not too picky...Office 2007, 2010, 2013...just one that will work with Windows 10. Drop me a line with what you have & how much you want for it. Please...no suggestions to use those freebie ones off the internet. I need the real McCoy. George 214.629.1299 [email protected]
I have a copy called Office Standard 2007. The invoice from Dell is dated 31 March 09 and was £319.91. It has a product key registered to a Dell bought in the same transaction which was thrown out about 18 months later. I have the invoice for the Dell and a fading ink note of the Dell service tag for it. You would need to find out if you can deregister it from that computer. I don't know how that works. Its a CD in a box about an inch thick.
FYI, you can buy a new Office 365 license for not too much money from Microsoft. Single PC license is $69.99 per year or $149.99 to buy. Also, the 5 computer license subscription for $99.99 per year is a deal if you have multiple family members that need a copy. This is what I bought. For $20 per computer per year, it was pretty affordable. Office 2016 for Home, Students and Professionals .
ummm, you know Libre Office work fine, with all versions of any older Windows versions right? I have it on a xp machine as well as my Linux and win 7 machines. No issues and its free. So i don't understand why you "need" a windows product. https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh
Agree on Libre Office. I just loaded on my PC running Win 10. Purchased on FleaBay for around $10.00. Looks and acts just like Microsoft Office. Also happy to find out that it will open my older XP files.
I appreciate the heads up on this. Have new netbook w Microsoft 10 and didn't want to be extorted by Microsoft b/c they de-contented their OS. I understand it as a business model, and I also understand a free market. Made a donation, downloaded Libre. So far, so good. Seems to play nicely with the OS. Thanks for the tip.
I'm unable to edit the original post, and now that you've quoted me, I think the post is permanently tattooed here. Reason? Curious...
