I can't tell the slightest difference on the rear except for the rear windscreen looks different

Is the 20mm drop confirmed ???

I've got my bet/hope on 720 horses - would still be keeping power below F12, yet giving it almost 10% more than current....

The photo you posted is the FF as it is now. What are you talking about here?

If the "99,9% know changes happens" then I am sure the face lifted version is not for me. I am not in the need for +40 hp more, or 8 gears for that matter - just nice to have. What I need and LIKE is the current with 2 tail lights...

...so I ordered a 2016 before facelift. And that is just perfect for me. Some will most likly say wast of money - I say this is me, and I can easily live with that. Always looking on the money side of cars, well that has never been my way of thinking. Any car (except a few limited versions) is a large expense - I love cars so I just pay and drive away with a smile in my face :)

Well done. And ... you get a 5th year car vs. a first gen.

These photos show disguise in testing. Look at the lines where it is obviously an add on to see what is underneath. Also look at window shape it is different and suggests cabin profile
The side shows the disguise as well. [IMG]

Look closely. You can see on previous picture the interior roofline. And this picture shows the obvious camouflage. And suggests what's underneath [IMG]

That photo is the FF 2012-16, with some tape on the front, nothing in the rear. Again, the FF can look huge in the rear ONLY at the wrong angles/light/colors, like strait on, where the fender line and deep sculpting are lost and it looks flat and huge. It's not an ugly rear end in person, if in the right colors and light. This is much ado about nothing. If you don't like a shooting brake you don't like the FF. If you do, it's beautiful.

Brian, generally I agree with you, but what annoys me in last couple of years is - it doesnt look good in that & that color. I just dont like that trend, because Ferrari was known that their cars look nice in all colors (in red best). Now I hear a lot statements, I like this & this Ferrari in black color.

I'm really curious to see what Ferrari does wrt price - the FF was clearly priced too high when it came out and depreciation has been disgusting. Wonder how many guys will actually step up and pay 350k to 400k if that's where they price it.

I don't see them retreating on the V12 price maybe make some options standard
But they may price a V-8 version competitively

I don't see them making any reduction price - however some options (pano roof) could come as standard now. Depreciation is indeed insane on the FF......

it makes no sense - if they priced them at 250 to 275 theyd sell many more

I've just heard from someone who has seen the car in the flesh that he thinks it is a very nice redesign. Won't be long now before we all find out.

Ferrari have said they will have one more generation of a non-turbo V12 before any changes are made. so expect the FF facelift and the F12 replacement to be non-turbo…..thats what was said at the TDF launch….however…you never know!!!

I agree, there would be a lot more people look at the FF, if you look at demos and new'ish cars that have already lost a big chunk from price when new, then prices seems to find a level and they don't seem to move much after initial loss in year 1.

Apparently 1.5 year old Cayenne TTS are trading $95k from $175k new... That almost makes the FF depreciation palatable. I don't think Ferrari cares about second hand prices at all on that model. They still push FF sales for better slots for other cars... Someone can make up the loss from a FF with a TDF or drive a free 488 or speciale for one or two years... The people in a tough position are the ones like me who have zero interest in a 2 seater car. A 2-3 year old FF is so discounted is is hard to not look at them vs a new one (that's coming from someone who doesn't like used car at all).

Since it is a V12 with more hp than the 488 they have to sell it higher. And they already don't make a lot of money since the sales number are so low...

I personally think the FF depreciation is not bad at all. 40% to 45% after 4 years is fantastic comparing it to Bentley barges or Stone Age Astons. I just don't get the knockers. The U.K. Market has bottomed at 150k for 2011 models with some 2012 s commanding £169950.

What do some people expect. It is an indulgence to buy into the marque so live with it or..........

Again, "low" based on what? The car was a new thing, built for a limited market even in Ferrari terms.

Is it possible the car was slow to catch on and is gaining ground? Is it possible the sales were exactly as expected? Is it possible that many people are PROJECTING their lack of interest in the FF on a situation where they are not experts?

If the FF depreciation hurts too much then you are buying the wrong car. Buy a Chevy, the percentage may be similar but a much smaller total. I'm on my second FF, took the huge hit on my first but every mile was WELL worth the price. Hopefully I'm in a position to get in early on the new FF and take the hit on my '14.
