Thanks Carlom. Yes, I discussed the CarPlay option. It's very neat. However, my dealer is checking the tdf has a ipod/iphone connection (we assume it does). Music is my only want, besides there's bluetooth for the phone. If the port is confirmed I'll pass on CarPlay. No question CarPlay is a cool concept, in a different car with a big touch screen I could be tempted.

    Hi
Agree with your reasoning. There are two thicknesses of coloured stitching both being the same price option , "standard" stitching and "special" stitching. the special stitching is slightly thicker and just looks a touch more generous.
    regards

I'm sure this pic was posted before but I thought I'd ask Camlet if this is the idea with the Lennon stripe.

I'd say this matches your spec 80%?

I have thought long and hard about the opaco paints, and whilst on first glance they are arresting, I don't know if I wouldn't wake up one day and realise they were arresting because they were different from the accepted norm and now my eye was used to the look, it didn't have staying power. Consequently, I would never spec from the factory and would suggest the temporary nature of a wrap.

Camlet, I agree with you on CarPlay. Initially, I thought great and then realised trying to use it on the tiny screen would void most of its practicalities.

It depends on your mood. Sometimes they look they are interesting, different, track orientated whereas sometimes they look like someone sprayed the car with spray cans in their garage.

IMO it could very well be TDF

Bonnet reflection looks bright but it's a bright blue sky reflection. The areas in the shadow look dark enough to me to match TDF.

Scrap that. This is most probably Blu Le mans of member LGT (see posts from #974 onwards).

Ahahahahah I made the same mistake since I speak german.

It's not Blu nacht like "Night Blue" (In german Night = Nacht)

it's blue N.A.R.T ( North American Racing Team)

For years I thought it was Blu Nacht badly spelled

Did you consider stopping the stripe at the edge of the hood ?... I'm asking myself if it would look better.

Hi. I haven't considered it, the idea was prompted by the 1961 250 SWB Le Mans car, which I've always admired. You might be right, but I 'aint changing :)

Hello ! Car will look great anyway. I'm note even sure stopping the stripe will look better. BTW There's a guy here wich has a Atelier made f12 wich has a similar spirit has your combo.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ff-f12/487467-my-new-f12-here-unique-color-combination-imo.html

Grey/silver (this one is titanio) with blue stripe and some blue inside.

Cars are different but I admit the idea of blue interior and silver exterior is terrific. Felisa , stop your Q2 Q3 Red + 10 crap and deliver the car for the next week end. I don't like to wait.
