Can you please tell me why the rear wheels of the FF are in 315 instead of the more safe , 335???

Because with the 315 width the rimm is outside of the tire , and when in hard cornering it scratches the rim...

    Regards

    Rui

I wasn't in the development of this wheel/tire package but the most important part of any wheel/tire package is the overall tire height compared to stock. You need to get within something like 1-3% of the factory tire height or else you will have issues with the traction control unit. Once you figure out what sizes you could use then you have to find out what is actually sold on the market. I would assume the 315's are the best option when you look at what needs to be taken into consideration.

yes it´s true , but if you use 335/25R22 of the factory OEM 295/35R20 is +1.8% , it´s between the 1-3% of the factory.

This is what happend after ONE trip of 320 kms of highway , to the rims with 315´s fitted by Novitec Germany.

That sucks. Again, I wasn't in on the development so I don't know why that tire was chosen but I am sure they have a good reason.

Yes , but we really want to know an answer from Novitec , regarding this subject.
Because more than 10000€ for this setup and one trip is damaged....:(
