I might buy the new FF if they offer a V-8 version at a decent price.
Had a 612 back in 2005 Loved it.Passed on the FF felt it wasn't pretty
Plus a little too rich in pricing from my perspective.

If you want a "V8 at a descent price" you're not a FF guy. Truly. Trolling at best. Just find another car. And subforum.

Is "selling many more" their aim? When did you become smarter than Ferrari?

I'm sorry - they IPO'd. do you have any idea why companies do that? of course selling as many cars as they can is their objective.

Probably - But that gives no reason for a owner of a Ferrari car to act as such

Im afraid this is all outdated info. I have it on good authority this was the hoped for path but not realistic and since the change in leadership the door was completely closed. I'm pretty sure there wont be any hybrids- its going to be turbos but this next go round likely is NA still :).

They are definitely looking to sell more and more- why else make a sports car that seats 4 and has AWD.

I don't think you're going to see a price reduction- but I agree you are likely to see more standard content.

I'm very curious to see how it all turns out. I hope they make it more visually appealing- at least to me the current one just doesn't do it (again for me).

Oh I'm sorry ... I thought intelligence mattered, not post count.

The FF is a V12 car, the engine is a huge part of it. Anyone wanting a cheaper V8 that looks better ... is in the wrong place. That's pretty obvious I would think.

    You're ?

What's arrogant is telling Ferrari how to make the FF, trashing the looks of a beautiful machine, and then wanting MORE car for LESS. It's all about you. Arrogant is a psychological projection.

    Just get another car.

Hmm, no idea how the world works at all.

Yes, he's stated 9000 cars by 2019. And a new model per year. Doesn't mean it's a V8TT FF to please the Panamera crowd.

And yes, bought a year old 2014 with 675 miles in the perfect build for me. Smart.

I know. Not likely. Batteries are way too heavy. It might be nice to have the extra instant electric derived power but how does a 4,500lb F12 sound? Its not very appealing to me.

So buying a used FF gives you the right to chastise long standing Ferrari customers for having differences of opinion - You're ridiculous

True one does get a weight penalty But the sound of a naturally aspirated V-12 would be worth it IMO

    Good question.

Why was the FF made in the first place?

It's just an opinion. Why so upset?

Anyone who thinks the FF would be better as a V8 for less money is "ridiculous".

Fly that crazy flag all you like, but it is what it is.

The irony is (and I appreciate irony can be an alien concept) I don't think I would have bought my Ferraris had they been cheap.

I think this is why there is not going to be a cheaper Ferrari. When they entered the stock market Ferrari did sell them self as exclusive brand, not a car maker. Ferrari would be wrong going mass market, they would make a severe hit in the stock price.....

Ferrari is creating exclusive supercars, a dream for a few, not for everyone, like Porsche. You may like it or not, but Ferrari is still Ferrari, and it will never be cheap massmarket.

I think if they produce a V8TT FF in the same body athe V12 FF and sell it cheaper it will put some people off of the car as they will likely look almost identical. Not good for the brand IMO.
