I'd like to make a radar detector/camera mount to sit above this piece so I need to remove it to access solid mounting points. It seems loose enough but I don't want to break anything finding out how it's attached. Does anyone here know?

You have to take off # 40 first. There are nuts accessed from the engine bay. Once that is off you can get to the screws for 46 and 47 which also have nuts that you take off from the engine bay side. Once they are off you can get to the two screws that hold 44 on.

A previous owner was nice enough to break the heck out of all mine.

It's possible to remove the seat belt cover without completely removing 46 and 47. The nuts in the engine bay are such a PITA.

Thanks very much to both of you for your replies, even though it's sure not what I wanted to hear.

Am I correct in assuming that there are screws for this trim piece lurking under 46 and 47? And that it's possible to access them by loosening the nuts for 46 & 47 enough to sneak a screwdriver behind those two trim pieces?

If so, that still sounds like more trouble than it's worth until the planned/needed engine-out service. Sheesh, I've been marveling at just how easy all of the center console bits come apart and now Ferrari throws a curve ball into the mix by making a seemingly easy to access piece into a total PITA. Arrggh! :(

Remove 40. Then remove the interior nuts from 46 and 47.

Thanks. Are the nuts for 40 in the engine bay or does it pop on and off like the door panels?

The big one is 348 the little one is 355. The 348 has two push pins and two nuts in the engine bay.

These tabs are normally attached to the seat belt cover and the screws are under 46 and 47. Someone just ripped a bunch of my stuff out at one time or another. I switched the 3 point seat belts so when I get all my interior swapped over this won't be there anyway.

Beautiful. Thanks! It even shows the location of the pesky engine bay nuts. I was thinking to leave this until the engine out service but this provides new enthusiasm for the project, especially now that I know how easy it would be to use the screws for the cover to secure the mount. Thanks again!
