Factory DGM 14753 OM - January 1st 1985 and the factory had already applied for an adjustment from its 1979 Transportation Authority Homologation, for the QV's braking system. Kindly supplied by Ing. Marmiroli. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Robert, RHD DD (Bianco Perlato/Bianco, white caulking) at Brands Hatch racing circuit. Do you know what year this is and more importantly, what car? Image Unavailable, Please Login
My guess is that pearl white DD at Brands is Rob Capp's car, reg 185EXY. I only say that due to the colour coded mirrors, though I know that colour was the popular 'brochure' colour. Sure Robert will have the answer! Cheers SS
Thanks SS, I think you may be right, Rob lived/lives in Bromley so he wasn't too far from Brands Hatch!
You are right, color-coded mirrors, white caulking, rear wing, same livery, its his car. Note the yellow DD next to it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
On the picture you can see a naked 85 DD door. Does anybody know if the red marked stiffening was added during the federalization process or in the factory? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, This is my photo, so you'd think I know which car it is! It's a mystery - this car is registered D11MAT (I also took other photos of it that day which include the number plate). You may recall that there was a pearl Anniversary registered D111MAT.
It could well be Rob Capp's former QV, but there are several RHD pearl cars which are all seemingly identical!
Another of my photos, taken at Mike Perry's Connaught Chelsea in London. I heard yesterday that the yellow QV DD next to it went to Malaysia many years ago btw.
Think I read on one of the threads on here that a Countach had another oil cooler in the side Naca duct. I note my 87 QV has one, was this standard kit on the DD? When was it introduced? Rob
Our friend Raymond has some Countach parts Lamborghini Countach Sale Section at 30% less than you'll see at known retailers
I was there the day Rob Capp dropped off his DD at Mike Perry's Connaught (to make way for his incoming 25th), you could hear him arriving from a 1/2 mile away!
I have heard that after the Brooklands Hillclimb accident, it was repainted red, and this may be the car here in Malaysia registered WAR 86 Image Unavailable, Please Login
