Right, unfortunatly no diversication of colour and shields. Even not by wheels (despite the fact, that the Barchetta has 18' inch wheels).

Actually now that I study the photo it looks more like a 550 than a 575M on close inspection?

Wow, most probably I'll keep my 550 forever.

Great shots. Isn't that the same site that had the 550 v 599 series? Nice to see sizes are coming down again. I think the F12 is a worthy successor of the Maranellos, 599 not so much in my opinion.

The 550/575 is certainly a very pure, not stylized design. And having just purchased a 599 (also have a 1999 550), while it is indeed larger, it is one heckuva car - very fast, great brakes, exquisite handling. These pictures are terrific -- thanks for posting.

I think you posted those before Terry (or someone else did), great photos and great comparison. That's what I call a hat trick.

Great photos and good to see a side by side comparison of style and size.
As a side note a 599 is very close in size to a 456.

Graeme- The wheelbase on the 599 is actually longer, at 2750 mm, than that of the 456/456M at 2600 mm. That was done to get the engine further back in the chassis for better weight distribution. The 612 has a 2950 mm wheelbase for more room for the engine and more room for rear passengers, so it is really long.

I've never seen a 575 in white before, it looks beautiful! (as does the grey 360 as well, but I've seen those before)

    I stand corrected Terry,
A closer look reveals you are right and it is an F430. The darker colour must have thrown me off.

Never seen a white 575 before either. Was the white color a factory color?
