    Hi Barry
I need to check and get back to you
I have only purchased the car recently and it is not parked in my garage as I am having some work done on it
It is an Australian delivered 1985 qv but I am not sure if it needs to plug in under the dash or into a cigarette lighter.

Should be the under dash plug in one. Picture on the left. These are getting hard to find. I got one for my car a few months ago.

You don't see too many of these still in the OE "yellow" paint --- most of them have been re-sprayed in black over the years.

Cool to see a true "original" set.

The later type for 308 was actually black, with black plastic grip around the ratchet and wheel lug wrench. But it does not rule out people re-spray the yellow ones black. You can tell them apart really really easy.

BTW, I don't think these are that rare. Original complete sets are rare but can still be found.

    Steve - you are correct

I am reliably informed that the trouble light for my car has the standard 308 socket ie the under dash plug not a lighter

Barry - I will PM you about price

    Yep.

The black jacks have the thumb wheel on the jack.

The yellow kits have the thumb wheel on the extension shaft....
    Yellow kits are earlier....

This is correct for later 308 QVs. For 328s, you also need the battery strap. It's a nice shiny jack kit nonetheless!

The trouble light arrived today, and I am pleased to be able to report that it survived the trip half way around the world without any damage.

Thanks for providing a great service at a reasonable price.

    Regards
