Personally I'm fine with the irregularities I see in the paint, its the irregular use of icons I'm having trouble with
$2M for an S would be record money. I think you are referring to the SV which sold after the auction for $2M. Cheers Jim
Jim, An P400S already set a world record price at Mecum in 2015.$2.53 million including premium. The Top 25 Most Expensive Cars at the 2015 Monterey Auctions ? News ? Car and Driver | Car and Driver Blog The white P400s at Scottsdale 2016 bid up to $1.0 million. It was a nice project.
4 different answers guys ???? Have you all been on acid last couple of days Believe the right one is: "The white P400s at Scottsdale 2016 bid up to $1.0 million. It was a nice project." Can't agree with "It was a nice project" I've heard this phrase a few times lately from Miura lovers, as soon as a car doesn't sell at the right price...oh yes its because "it was a project".. Based on the photos i wouldn't call any of these two Miura projects...not Peeble Beach standard for sure, but you can drive and keep them as they are if you want. Miura prices have gone down by 20% since their high last year, and the fifty so cars on the market for the moment are just not selling. Too many cars, and asking too much. I believe thats the truth... Here are the results of last Miura auctions : - 19 nov 2015 : Red Miura S (4377) sells for 974.400 USD (fees cinluded) at Keno Brothers NY auction - 10 dec 2015 : Yellow Miura SV (5014) sells for 2.420.000 USD (fees included) at RM Auction NY Driven by Disruption - 28 jan 2016 : Yellow Miura SV (4912) sells for 2.000.000 USD (10% fees included) at RM Arizona auction - 29 jan 2016 : White Miura S (4782) with 3788 KMs ! doesn't sell, high bid of only 1.000.000 USD at RM Arizona auction
Personally I do not like to quote the high bid. If the auctioneer is doing his job right the high bid is not real. It is simply an attempt to drive the buyer (if there is one) to bid higher. He is attempting to negotiate a deal between the sellers reserve and what the buyer is willing to pay. The S was a no sale when it went across the block. I agree the S was perfectly useable as is. But that interior was not to most people tastes. The seats in particular did not appear to be well done. They did not fit well. Cheers Jim
A few weeks ago he said 33, 21 of which were advertised, but when asked to post them they never materialized. Now it's 50. Yes, there is a premium for a well restored car as they can be a difficult car to restore. I don't know about the mechanical condition of the two cars at RM, but upon a five minute inspection of each, I would say a restoration would be warranted in the near future. $2MM was a good result for the SV and will look spectacular when returned to blue medio. There is also a premium for originality, of which neither of these cars possessed.
Hello everybody, today the Carnevale in Cento, that as you may know is a small but very lively town near to Sant'Agata famous in all of Europe for its parade, had its inaugural parade and it was nice to see a huge ride celebrating the 100 years since Ferruccio's birthday. As you know, he was born only a few kms away from Cento. TGR: le ultime notizie dalle regioni in tempo reale – news, attualità e aggiornamenti You will have to scroll to 17,50 mins to see a glimpse of the 'Lamborghini' float but if any better image comes up in the next days, I'll try to link them to you. As you can see, a large balloon resembling a yellow Miura floats over the cart..... All the best Stefano
