Thanks! I find the Marquis very well built (especially 59, 65, 72 -- don't care too much for their new stuff), feels very solid. The boat is not very sporty (Searay wins here) but really not the purpose of it. It is a super comfortable, roomy boat (great bedrooms , engine room, gunwales). My biggest critique is helm ergonomics but this is very minor.

Great looking Boston Whaler Larry -- I agree BW ride beautifully! A friend of mine is towing a similar boat as a tender and it is fantastic !

How do the BWs compared to Grady Whites? When I was kid growing up on Long Island, some friends parents had BW, now they have Grady's. Always remember the BW ad with 2 half's floating in the water, showing they don't sink.

Anyway, I'm not a boater, but both are great fishing boats and first rate quality.

They are both fine boats but personally having studied the way boatonwhalers are built that is my preference for a boat of this type. Solid as a rock and rides great .. The hull is filled with a foam that expands and is sandwiched between the inner and outer hull then filled under pressure with foam it expands thru every portion of the hull.. I visited the factory while mine was built it is a unique process unlike others..

Agree with your comments. Almost too many good boats in this range. I've got a smaller Whaler than yours, mine is a 32' Outrage. I kind of think of it as an SUV. Nice and wide so it doesn't roll when you have people on it moving side to side like a narrow deep V. It is very quiet. Also, the kids take mine out and I like that it always floats. My instructions are that if they are in the ocean, short of a fire, stay with the boat and that's the easiest way to be found.

Factory just delivered it to the dealer/marina a little over an hour ago... It's been on order since this summer.

I'll hopefully get to see it this weekend.

Just completed a delivery aboard a 120' Westport with my buddy from Naples to Lauderdale via the Keys. There were some nice boats docked nearby, including a ~300' mega yacht owned by Spielberg.

Seven Seas. 282' but he's got the itch for a bigger one. Crew of 20 when it's underway IIRC.
I don't know the 120' Westport but they are great boats.

On another note, It's been a tough couple of weeks for big boats in SoFla. A 74' Spencer custom was run aground ripping the bottom out of it while making it's first run to be delivered. A 105' sank last week after leaving ft lauderdale for the Bahamas. Sunday night a 113'ish Bennett sank between Cuba and Florida headed back to Ft Lauderdale. I just bought a new life raft.

Yuck. Not good at all. A boat that size is terrible on one engine too. Hopefully, it was nothing serious.

Turned out to be a false sensor and a change of underwear.

It was an interesting week with all the large yachts sinking off the coast. First question I had on embarking was "where's the life raft, flares and life jackets?"

That's an incredibly beautiful boat. Coming up with a new boat name should be fun!

Thank you. So far the name is gonna be either "Hank the Tank" or "Caneel" My little family is deciding. (Our first boat was Frank the Tank)

    Crazy beautiful boat. Shower?
I always had inboards with the kids and the always feel they are just so much safer, run better and so on. There's just no comparison.

Great looking boat. Nautique has really upped their game!

Will be interested to hear how you like the wake.
