The CTS 575 is now gone, but not listed under "Sold" cars. $279k was the asking price.

Ok...Carl has confirmed that I'm a little confused.
The 80s cars in Switzerland had the same engines as ours, but not in the 70s.

In other words, the infamous high compression QVs and 328s of Europe were not available to the Swiss, but the dry sump engines from the 70s were

Fair money for a very historic car with competition history and great provenance. Better value than a Van Gogh or similar for twice as much. And much better looking. Been to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and while it's interesting to see the pictures, a 335S is a better looking thing.
(Note - one of the gifts in the museum shop is a keyring shaped like an ear...)

Great result for a wonderfull car, which makes a bit of a mokery of a comment by a local auction house after their review of the Scotsdale 2016 auction results with the comment the correction is on its way, maybe in the US, but obviously not Europe.
