    Wow X2. As the thread knows, I paid $16,000 for a fully running and smogged/BAR, registered (but needing cosmetics) complete '84 blue over tan w/ 27 years of records. A year later, I've spent another $25,000 to bring the car to a great #2+. Good luck for anyone ever getting upside on this.

    I wonder what happened? The back seats look like high heat and/or exposed or adjacent to a fire perhaps... although the trunk lid, roof, and bumper areas do not show heat damage... odd... very odd... and very sad too.

    Picking the back end up with a sling type tow hookup would be my guess.That is the panel behind the rear bumper isn't it? It's still a lot of abrasions for only towing it once.
